Ah - just had a read of the Grave's Spa re-textures notes and they state clearly they break anything that inherits from vanilla mags.
Texture paths will be different in SPS stuff but the fact he says it breaks RHS and 3CB again suggests he might be modifying base classes which then cause compatibility issues with other mods.

I've not looked for a year or so but last time I looked Aegis is horrific for breaking many, many things.
They used to modify game base classes which is a massive no-no for compatibility with just about anything as everything else in the game will inherit from this and if it's not as expected, things just won't work as they should. Not sure if they still do this but that would be one of the first things that could be worth trying.

I repaired the mod last night and nothing changed as far as the texture warping of the totally cool and awesome magazines, otherwise I pretty much just run mods as far as vanilla goes from people like Grave of E22, POLPOX, the Aegis team, WebKnight, and some smaller legit mods, it could be something like Grave's JCA mods which change pre-existing models and textures and replaces them with stuff made by him and his team. I'll fuck around with my modpack, find out if it changes anything and then mald if it doesn't.

@Wheezer this is a complete stand alone mod pack so no other dependencies (other than CBA) should be required.
You could try repairing the mod to see if anything has become corrupted - just right click on it in the A3 launcher and repair should be an option.

One thing I would note is that there are various other illegal rips of this mod and sections of it floating about which have corrupted parts of SPS when run simultaneously.
So I would strongly recommend only run mods made with authentic and legal content.

Hello, I'm curious about how I am supposed to load this mod should I load it as part of a modpack or on it's own? I've been having issues with the various 416 pmag magazines where the textures are warped and not where they would supposedly be. If it's able to be fixed I'd appreciate it, if not it's no big deal have a good day!

@DeathMetalNinja - as I've already posted - V2 is NOT just a retexture.
There's about 1000 hours in those new HK416s and to make them fully vanilla proof is not a moment's work. Nor is it sensible to put nearly 3000 new weapon variations in the arsenal...

@Steve! Please give us poor vanilla pukes something from the V2 pack. I downloaded the v2 without ace and everything looks great, yeah a few more guns in the arsenal but who cares? lol only bugs i saw was the startup warning and some missing mags in VA. The retextures look sweet af too maybe at least give us that? Its nearly christmas after all....;)

I know th HKs have lots of variations, too many for this non ace mod, but, I hope you can add some of the new guns, with a few/less variations, like the new BRNO pistols

@DeathMetalNinja - V2.x HK416s and HK337s are completely new models not 'skins'.
Putting 2700+ options into the vanilla arsenal may or may not work but it will certainly annoy everyone!
So there's currently no plan to put them into the 1.x mods as I think it will just create a lot of issues for the current subscribers

I think the issue is CBA / Joint Rails is allowing additional bipods to be fitted.
This is something that's popped up relatively recently.
It will get fixed when I get time...

Hi there, i found somehow the AXMC Series don't have bipod deployed sound in game even they have in config. Plus, i can add additional bipod attachment which has no effect. So here is my modification.

I added 2 more sound of bipod in config
Bipod upsound and bipod downsound from M320 in original game, and i changed deployed sound and fold sound. Then it works. If you think this sound is resonable, please update it in next patch.

And for the additional bipod attachment issue, i added a blank class underslot under the class weaponinfoslot. You use dmr02 for a templete but it covers your underslot config. I think this is a config bug. Please fix it in next patch if possible.

weird because both i and atleast one more player on my server get: and have not found any other server on A3L that use the mod so cant find and test to join an other server.

when i shoot a hostile and the bullet impacts his weapon, a puff of smoke pops up and no damage is inflicted. can this be disable?

I had originally planned to release a 3rd pack of textures containing arctic and urban schemes.
I can't remember where I got to with them or why I stopped.
It was probably because each pack is quite large and the list of options in the arsenal (if you use all of them) gets a bit silly.
I might look into where I got to with that 3rd pack but no promises...

For info, BI Mags are all the correct width.
I've not checked that many other mods other than RHS for how their magazines fit with SPS weapons. As I said, the SPS HK416s are dimensionally very accurate - and, in fact, exact when it comes to the mag well dimension.
The image you posted does look extremely like RHS 0.4.8. I've taken pretty much exactly the screen shot you posted when discussing the mag width issue with various developers...
So to me, it looks like that mod uses the old, 0.4.8 RHS magazine model file and textures.
It may be that mod you are using has permission to do so (assuming I'm correct about it being old RHS's model etc.) but I'd just ask everyone to be careful when it comes to which mods you use and support. Ripping/using stolen content is steadily pushing the mod makers who do make original content away from the community.

It's not the RHS stanag mags, somehow all the standard BIS 5.56 mags have been replaced by yellow tracer mags. going to the painful process of eliminating the mod conflict. I think it only affects your magwell and dont know why.

That should NOT be the default mag that loads with my weapons. That would be BI's mag which is the correct dimensions. It also does not look like the BI mag - it looks like OLD RHS stuff so either you're using mods that are re-uploading OLD RHS content (and not referencing latest) and/or using things that modify my weapons. Both of which are highly questionable as to whether they are breaking EULAs....

Which magazine is that? It looks like RHS 0.4.8's STANAG.
This was what I was referring to in earlier post by saying that I wasn't going to release the mag proxies until RHS had released 0.4.9 where they fixed their mag widths and positions.

It seems quite common for mags and weapons in mod packs to be wider than reality. As much SPS mods as possible are made from drawings and dimensions of real parts so this can then cause issues with other mods if their components are not correct/real life sizes.
