I've posted that in the same page of comments as yours. But here are the instructions:

Just click Subscribe and then ingame, go to your MODS option in the menu and click on the name of this crosshair so it says YES in the Active column. Then hit the RESTART button.

I agree Ive tried them all and this is the best yet, would it be possible to get it transparent? and in the side colours for each side? then it would be perfect.
