@Feodal Why post the same message on 2 different mods? Just don't build a huge coffin workshop, coffins have a high export value.

Very interesting mod! But, for me, it does not work correctly. After I build a coffin shop, the prison starts shipping goods that I don't produce. And every few hours, I get $ 2,000 in my account. As a result, I have a lot of money, ($30,000 a day), although I did nothing. For me, this is not interesting, I used to think that I would earn every cent. Sorry for me english.

i used this for months when the new island bound came i crashed my game the update change this some how i tried taking all items but this one will not work with island bound update even on other maps something change it please help

Please be aware that this mod is outdated and the Cemetery 2.0 mod includes a Crematorium in case you suffer from mass deaths!

Unless you are playing with PA Update 13 or older, you'd better subscribe to the new version and grab this old mod only if you need it for very old prison saves. The newer version also has some bugfixes which this version doesn't have, and is compatible with more mods. DO NOT activate both cemetery mods at the same time, they are not compatible with eachother.

@Murgh, thanks for writing back. I thought my prisoners were happy, I've used the same regime setup forever. But after I babied the crap out of my prisoners they started to pass. Love your mods!

Perhaps try to schedule the classes on a different hour of the day, see if that helps. There should be no reason for them not to pass.

Is there a reason my prisoners can't pass the Grave Digging/Coffin Production classes? I've had 13 try and fail on the grave digging alone. My prisoners are well treated and generally in a good mood. I can't get these grants completed.

It can take up to 7200 minutes before a grave gets cleaned up.

I have updated the cemetery code in my combipack and could update this mod as well, but it's only compatible with the latest PA. So I'm in doubt to do it or just leave this one as is, and upload the updated version as new mod. Since steam doesn't give a history of a mod, I guess that's the best to do.

Nah, it's something which bothered me for a while as well. But I didn't know how to get the game time properly in order to be able to calculate the days passing by. Meanwhile I found out how that works, so I can code something to fix this issue when I get to it :)

When I get to it I could add a button to specify this. The reason for it to be the way it is now is to prevent the cemetery from being unable to bury more dead people once it's full. Otherwise you'd need to keep expanding the cemetery. But I agree, it's cleaning up graves too soon at the moment, they should stay for at least 14 or 30 days, something like that. It's on the ToDo list for this mod, ok?

Is there a way to make the graves stay? And not be cleared after a while. I like the mod, as it creates a story with dead prisoners and guards in my opinion. However, I don't like that they keep being cleared.

Tending graves and gravestones can only be done by prisoners, so at least 1 is required to work at the Cemetery. All other jobs can be done by workmen, gardeners or prisoners.

The grave tooltip stating under construction 1/2 is just an empty grave waiting for dead people. I should have changed that tooltip to something more logical for the end user, but it's just a leftover of a script testing message.

Having troubles with dead people not being moved to a Cemetery or Morgue? Check the Deployment screen if the area is Shared and not StaffOnly, or if it has the same security level as the dead prisoner. Dead MaxSec prisoners won't be brought to a MedSec Morgue/Cemetery for instance.

For some reason the dead bodys stay where they are and no one places them in a coffin or constructs a grave(cemetary states that grave is constructed 1/2????))

Adding a workshop saw wouldn't help, only a prisoner from the Workshop would operate it. Try the Workshop Storage Racks mod to buffer logs instead.

@murgh - Please add a workshop saw to the coffin workshop. No one is intrested in making beds and all my logs go to exports. No coffins are made and I need to remmber to buy them all the time.

You will need a normal workshop as well where logs get chopped into pieces of wood on a workshop saw.

Hey sorry to bother you again, but I just set up my forestry, and all the wood is going to exports instead if my coffin workshops. I have around 5 people trained and 2 coffin workshops.

This is because you play with cheats/devtools enabled and ImmediateMaterials turned on (press F1 to toggle). You can place any object directly on the map, but it will also spawn as a box in storage/deliveries. It happens to many if not all objects. Just beware of the boxes and dump them.

Hey murgh, sometimes empty coffins appear on the tables in the morgue, but the guards don't fill it up with dead bodies. And also instead of saying "Empty Coffin", it says "Box" (With the content being empty coffins". Finally instead of showing boxes, it shows empty coffins. However placing coffins directly from the "objects" menu works fine.

Running on Update 13? Then it's probably the new statuseffect Exposure. I noticed people seemingly random dying outside as well, and with a closer look you'll see Exposure maxed out just before they die. Reducing the workspaces outdoors is the only thing to do, so less people can die of the cold.

The Cemetery will get an update soon, since it has now become possible to read out the cause of death. This will make the text on grave stones more interesting, I just need to find out what all possible causes of death can be in the game. If you have suggestions for a grave text then feel free to post it here!

It's because only 1 mod can alter the tileset, so it's stuffed with all kinds of goodies.
