i have a few questions...can ai vc summon krell? and if so, do you get to keep him if you confederate with vc whilst playing von carstein? would love to have kemmler with krell and isabella with vlad, as it should be

Only if you edit that in yourself, as there can be only one Legendary Hero per faction via this mechanic and I already reserved that one for Isabella.

This mod has nothing to do with any buildings, so you should look at your other mods instead.

Hi there is an issue with your mod in which I cannot recruit heros whilst the mod is activated. Realised this 50 turns into a vampire campaign. It says "Cannot contruct the required buildings" ... Any fix for this?

Ohhh darn. He's a Kroxigor Character that's mentioned in 5th and 6th Edition, but he only ever appeared in Warmaster. He's the first Kroxigor aswell.

Neither, that is intentional as to allow the AI to still summon the normal Krell when you don't want to play Vampires yourself, as they do not summon this version of him.

I can still some him with Heinrich in battle as well giving me two Krells? Is this a bug or a mod conflict. I don't know which of my mods would affect him as most are unit mods

That means that Norsca are missing access to the required animation, so add his animation to Norsca via culture_to_battle_animations.

Cool mod! i'm trying to add Krell to norsca but when i do he stands on a crucified pose with his axe on the ground. Could you please tell me all the tables i need to change?

As I said, I never added such a skill, so while another mod may have done so, I kinda doubt it. The only skill I ever added to him was a passive ability which was permanently active and did not appear in the skill tree, otherwise he had a perfectly normal wight king tree, plus the army battle bonuses of a vampire lord.

With this Black Axe skill, I just modified CA's skill for this new hero version.


I don't really know how to deal with the faction summary window as it is autogenerated somehow, but it is not particularily important anyways. The Erengrad settlement is entirely vanilla in my mods since the Norsca updates, so I don't know what you are talking about.

Erengrad has no main settlement Chain so it cannot be rebuilt (all the other chains are visible but cannot be accesed without the town), and the fraction summary page during the game has no face or name (i know i had to pick Heinrich at the start and then the red duke does all the talking but can the face there be the red duke - using the deplomancy video face with his name or can it just be Heinrich's face and name as it would look better then odd text and no pic or even having no face and the red duke as the name...)

Had a look on Mixu's Mousillon page and theres a message on there talkiing about Krell and i found my old post to them about my old play through, at the time they said these issue's stemed from your unlocker (sorry to spam your thead here, but i'g guess your the dude to talk to. ;) )

Excellent Mod, Stacks with other Fractions (Norse Dwarfs, TEB, etc), while i was testing this out (to see if all these fraction unlockers and army roster boosters would work, which they did) i saw a few minor errors. If you give the a Vampire lord the skeletal steed (basic) he stands on its back with the flag pole out of his head on the map (funny as hell tho) all the other mounts that unlock with level are fine...

My old game file not longer loads (too many changes since) but im sure there was a Black Axe Skill next to Grave Ward (when he was still a general) i would have sent a pic (just to prove im not "That" mad) but it doesnt really matter now, as you've said:
"The skill bonuses Krell receives from Heinrich Kemmler are applied as long as they are in the same army and are marked in yellow in the skill descriptions. Their effects are:
⚫ Black Axe - +5 Melee Attack & +10 Charge Bonus"
So it now been implemented in a different way.

I don't think Mixu touches Krell, but I may be wrong. Either way, ain't from one of my own mods, except for the vanilla skill node called "Black Axe" that Kemmler has nowadays.

Soz didn't mean this mod made him a lord (with the axe skill), i guess that would be from Mixu's Mousilion Overhaul? As im using Crynsos fraction unlocker+ (Yours) which would be the only other option and since the last time i played (a few months back) an update made Krell a summoned hero and not a general (i think as in my last game i started with Krell, the Red duke and Kemmler as generals), and this ive only just downloaded as a fix to the new Krell implmentation. I will ask those mods authors to make this Perm Summoned Krell hero recognised the same as the others (if thats posible) and thus get more skills per level and have more skills to choose between. This mod never made him a lord, nor did it give him a Black Axe item, so you might be thinking of another mod. If you want those mods to support this one, then you have to poke the creator of them, I can't add support myself.

Also when he was a lord (This is much better) he had the Black Axe of Krell as a skill to unlock having that back would be excellent. ;)
