That is not entirely correct, Mlie. Although the "main" part of adding lumber and lumber recipes does work, fruit trees don't spawn the additional logs when harvested.

Since this mod is reported working in 1.3 I've added it to the No Version Warning-mod
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2599504692
Hope it helps!

Great mod!
extace_ 10 Jul, 2021 @ 3:31am
For anyone wondering: this seems to work well with 1.3. I have not found any bugs yet.
tanskalainen1974 6 Feb, 2021 @ 8:22am
This looks very promising! :)
Zairya 5 Sep, 2020 @ 3:32am
Yeah, I'm sorry for the confusion. Dismarzero must have been in a tight spot too.
I didn't notice any other issues but I forgot the VGP addon for a long time. It's just that some things with [T] More Floors are a bit unbalanced but that's not to your concern.
Thank you very much :)
Adventurer  [author] 3 Sep, 2020 @ 11:37pm
@Zairya Appears to have been reverted for now. Are you experiencing any other problems with the mods from VGP?
Zairya 1 Sep, 2020 @ 12:00am
Moin Adventurer,
dismarzero pushed an update, changing Ironwood, a few hours ago. Could you look into it, please?
Adventurer  [author] 20 Aug, 2020 @ 11:57pm
@Rylinu Yes, after the base mod is updated.
Rylinu 19 Aug, 2020 @ 6:48pm
Will this be getting a 1.2 update?
Scarlytte 27 Jun, 2020 @ 4:51pm
hey redwood trees don't seem to be working right now
Adventurer  [author] 3 Mar, 2020 @ 8:53pm
@megacoosboy It is delayed until after the main mod is updated.
megacoosboy 3 Mar, 2020 @ 8:16pm
any chance of a 1.1 update to this? I like using this with vgp for pretty walls and floors in my mountain strongholds.
Bond villains cant bond villain properly without sexy chateu style wood paneling ya know. :)
The Headless Diver 20 Aug, 2019 @ 2:10pm
hey, I have problem with mod. I can use logs for only horseshoes torches and campfires, I put mods in correct order. Can I fix it somewhow?
Jaxx - pshoooo 5 Feb, 2019 @ 2:03pm
aahhh ok. VGP's nerfed it to x300% with a +1 modifier which is sort of reasonable, i think x250% to make it in line with jade is better but it's up to you. i'll go ahead and modify it for my client :) the base lumber does need a buff though since you can't actually make sculptures with it as is.
Adventurer  [author] 4 Feb, 2019 @ 8:26pm
@Jaxx
The previous value was unbalanced in comparison to every other wood type. I know I nerfed it hard so I will probably raise it (haven't decided to what yet), but the upper limit is what Vegetable Garden changed it to. I don't want to give a very durable and lower flammability wood the best beauty modifier on top of it. I also don't want to make beauty needs irrelevant, so I am still experimenting with it.

In the meantime, you are free to change the value for it to whatever within the xml file containing ironwood lumber. The specific workshop folder for this mod is listed above in the description.
Jaxx - pshoooo 3 Feb, 2019 @ 11:09am
Can you restore the Ironwood Lumber to 250% beauty modifier? it seems it got broken at some point. the original lumber is also 100% beauty modifier so you can't even use it for sculptures.

Requires Expanded Woodworking and VGP Vegetable Garden to be loaded before this.
Kenny Dave 19 Nov, 2018 @ 10:59am
What's the load order please? Woodworking first or VG? This at the bottom, right?

I have no bamboo available in growing zones for my current base.
LiquidFoqs 1 Nov, 2018 @ 5:35am
Tysvm!
Adventurer  [author] 1 Nov, 2018 @ 12:09am
@LiquidFoqs Oh! Okay, I misinterpreted and thought the issue was with the vanilla walls. It is an easy change to make on your end if you still want to use the logs like that.

Find and open folder: 1082915328 in your Steam workshop folder using search. Open Defs and then ThingDefs folder. Open the Buildings_Structure.xml in Notepad++ or notepad equivalent, scroll to end and find canBuildNonEdificesUnder, and change it from false to true. Save file, make a copy and save it somewhere else in case of an update, so you can drop it back in and replace it.

It has been awhile since I tested this, but if I am remembering correctly, the above alteration should work.
LiquidFoqs 31 Oct, 2018 @ 7:41am
I don't have an issue with vanilla, was just trying to use the wall logs as an interrior kind of rustic look for some dorms i was making being unable to place the cables caught me off guard
Adventurer  [author] 30 Oct, 2018 @ 9:37pm
@LiquidFoqs The log walls are intentional in that regard. They are meant to be really rustic. I don't know what would cause your prolem with vanilla walls and wall lights since Expanded Woodworking has never edited them or had a need to.
LiquidFoqs 30 Oct, 2018 @ 6:24am
Wall lights, and just vanilla cables, Are the log walls intended to block cables?
Adventurer  [author] 29 Oct, 2018 @ 9:28pm
@LiquidFoqs Only log walls block electrical cables. I don't modify Rimworld's walls. What mod are you using?
LiquidFoqs 29 Oct, 2018 @ 12:23am
So a small Bug, or perhaps incapability. The walls themselves totally occupy the space they're in. Making placement of electrical cables, or on wall lights that occupy the same space impossible.
Adventurer  [author] 6 Oct, 2018 @ 9:22pm
@Sixdd This was my fault. I forgot to update the name of the mods in the patches from "...B18" to "...B19". No worries though, should be a quick fix.
#6 6 Oct, 2018 @ 4:52am
Hey Adventurer, so I started a tribal playthrough today and made a campfire from acacia wood, thing is it ran out of fuel and my colonists are refusing to recognize acacia wood as a fuel. I tried moving Woodworking around to see if it was a load order problem but no luck.
TurrisFortis 17 Sep, 2018 @ 7:46pm
Yeeeees. Thank you!
#6 14 Sep, 2018 @ 11:58pm
Awesome, thanks for the update :D
Adventurer  [author] 14 Sep, 2018 @ 11:13pm
@Sixdd
The update to B19 is nearly compllete and will likely be pushed in the next day or so. All the glaring issues I found are fixed.
Voymir Griffitz 14 Sep, 2018 @ 11:52am
Hi there @Sixdd, let's try use version 0,19 BEFORE Vegetables Garden on the modlist :) - Now in my game it seems to work correctly, and - as it is written on version 0.19 - unless it's built-in compatibility patch, it seems that you do not need anything besides loading the mod Woodworking (core version 0,19) BEFORE listed on version 0.19 - somehow I came to that before few moments, Have a nice day ^^
#6 14 Sep, 2018 @ 7:30am
Is this working with the B19 version or no? I ask because this mod is listed under B18 and under requirements it says Expanded Woodworking B19.
Adventurer  [author] 21 Jun, 2018 @ 9:48pm
@BasileusMaximos Acacia
Pamparampampamparam 12 Jun, 2018 @ 10:19pm
Whats the mst valuable wood?
Adventurer  [author] 30 Apr, 2018 @ 11:31pm
@Matheryn Unfortunately, I am unble to recreate and produce the same errors as you. If you can give me a link to your hugslib log, I would appreciate it.
Matheryn 27 Apr, 2018 @ 9:48pm
@adventurer (author) just a FYI your mod extended woodworking is causing a yellow duplicate error for bamboo trees with Veg guarden and the extended woodworking for veg guarden is causing and extra yellow duplicate error for Ironwood trees alongside the bamboo ones, dunno if this is a major problem with load time issues or mem usage issues or if you need to correct it at all but just thought id let you know and if you would like me to post the log i can
Adventurer  [author] 7 Apr, 2018 @ 10:06pm
@BasileusMaximos
No, it is not. However, if you can link me to your hugslib log or your output_log, I'd really appreciate it. It will allow me to investigate what is causing it to occur and potentially remedy it.
Pamparampampamparam 5 Apr, 2018 @ 3:40pm
I'm still getting this. Is it a serious issue?

UPDATE

Patch failed erros should no longer occur when using mods from Vegetable Garden Project with the most recent release of this mod, Expanded Woodworking, and mods from VGP. From now on, let me know if you receive any in the future. Thanks!
Laq 24 Dec, 2017 @ 3:18am
Thanks for this mod. Really like the expanded options provided.
BlueTressym 4 Dec, 2017 @ 5:34am
Thank you, Adventurer! *does happy dance*
Adventurer  [author] 4 Dec, 2017 @ 2:10am
Update to B18 released! A17 versions can be found on GitHub. Link to it is near the top of the description.

I am looking for feedback on a variety of changes/additions made. Click on the 'Change Notes' tab at the top to see where I am requesting feedback.

Recommend using Expanded Woodworking and Expanded Woodworking for Vegetable Garden Project as bookends to Vegetable Garden Project. Essentially, put all the mods from the Vegetable Garden Project in-between these two mods. If you have more questions about load order, ask me.

**Please read the 'An important note' above under 'Issues' **

And just in case you didn't read the top of the description, a new save game is needed if switching from A17. Safe to add to existing B18 save games.

Enjoy!
Adventurer  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 9:27pm
@everyone For a TropiCKAPP Rainforest patch, is there an opinion on the color choice for the wood of the palm tress added? Vegetable Garden already includes a few palm trees, which is why I am asking. Would you like them to be the same, similar, or different? I am looking for suggestions.
Luinithil 13 Aug, 2017 @ 5:47am
@Adventurer Hi! Sorry for the delay, but I replied your comment on GitHub with details.
Luinithil 6 Aug, 2017 @ 7:20am
@Adventurer: Opened a bug report with logs and modlist here at Github: https://github.com/Adventurer13/ExpandedWoodworkingVG/issues/2
Adventurer  [author] 5 Aug, 2017 @ 8:39pm
@Luinithil Hard to say since I don't know what mods you are using. Probably would be best to put them after anything which affects world generation resources and plants. If you could link me to your HugsLib output log (preferably) or the output_log in your folder, I may be able to better recommend where to try.
Luinithil 5 Aug, 2017 @ 4:12am
@Adventurer Works fine with the three mods only-- possibly load order then. Any suggestions for where this should be in the load order?
Adventurer  [author] 3 Aug, 2017 @ 8:32pm
@Luintihil What happens with testing only these three mods on a new save?

If it works fine, likely another mod is causing a conflict and/or you will need to change your load order.

If it also isn't working on a new save, create a bug report following the linked guide and location above. I'll need the files mentioned in the guide to figure out why this is occurring.
Luinithil 3 Aug, 2017 @ 10:42am
Hmm. Cut down some cherry trees, the trees just disappear without dropping anything; no logs or lumber. What could be the cause?
