Dude, you're replying to a comment that's over a year old. I have no idea which mod I was referring to then, could have been Immersive Galaxie - Planet Variety Reborn 2k but maybe not. These days I use Stellaris Texture Pack - Base Game 4K.

I remember when this mod was brand new. It's great that Paradox patches their games, but it's horrible for the longevity of mods which are what really bring new life into games.

The below mod disables achievements, for those who care. This version still functions as is on modern stellaris however. I havent seen any major issues. This also goes for the other ones uploaded by this op.

I don’t believe there is a way currently, short of re-rolling the planet’s class (via console commands or Otter). There might be a console command to reroll just graphics but I don’t know if there is or what it would be.

How do you get this to work on previous save games? A couple people a while back mentioned an event but the creator said he took that out so im wondering if theres any way to get the new planets on a previous save?

damn when i entered in my save with mod disabled and enabled again my planets have default textures any way to make all planets in galaxy again with these textures?

Pro tip: if you're crashing, make sure that the 2K/4K/Lite mod is ABOVE the clouds mod in load order, as any other configuration will cause crashing

Before anyone asks, the mod is still working wonders in 2.7 as far as I've encountered.

You assume correctly. The Immersive Galaxy mods are very friendly with pretty much every mod out there. These and the UI overhaul have been in my mods list from the day they were released.. even in my vanilla achievement runs.

I suppose I can use all this Immersive Galaxy mods with Real Space and New Frontiers if I put Immersive Galaxy's mods higher than Real Space's in a mod loader?

Should be ok to keep using. The changes are only graphical.

Try with no mods turned on. If that works try loading each mod one at a time (except for this and the 2k requirement), this will reveal which one is causing the problem or if it's a problem with the vanilla files. I'm going to put my money on astro objects for some reason.

I'm afraid I'm at a loss, all of the Asto Object mods are achievement compatible and so is nightfall. I'm using this and nightfall along with several others and achievements are fine. OK, stupid question but I have to ask. You ticked on ironman mode, right? Sometimes it's the simple things that we can miss.

i verified game files and it doesn't work

and i use nightfall and astronomicaly objects

only mod for sound but that mod is ironman compatible

Do you have any any other mods active that would disable achievements? If not then verify the game files and that should clear it up.

Ignore the exlamation point. There's a single line in the mod desc file with the version number, that's what it's reading. It doesn't actually tell you if a mod works or not.

@sinsforeal This mod works fine. There has to be something wrong with your stellaris install. Try verifying your game files.

Can you update to 2.5 please. crashes everytime I load. with only just this mod installed

Any idea why my the Stellaris mod manager window is saying I need game version 2.1 for this? Seems like something funky with the mod manager window.

@ajkula76 apparently the mods I activated were only partly downloaded, resulting in a LOT of crashing. After I verified that all mods were downloaded and activated I tried again and all was well. It was just this mod when it started but ultimately unrelated. I blame the launcher.

Haven't tried 4k textures though. I might check that out but honestly I'm just glad the game works now so I'm hesitant to commence another mod conflict resolution tour around the galaxy.

For me, it doesn't work with the 4k version, it works however with the 2k version and PD.

@tilarium I have not tested it with vanilla but I haven't been able to get it to work with PD, same with the IG Variety for PD submod. It's either outdated or new launcher fuckery. I'm not able to use Cultural Overhaul along with UI Overhaul Dynamic either for this reason. Doesn't matter where I put them in the load order, it all ends the same, a ctd before reaching the main menu.

I haven't tested it (been playing ck2) but it should work fine. This mod is very update friendly and won't be broken unless they make changes to how the planets are displayed in game.

@Niamh Just fired the game up with my collection of achievement compatible mods, which includes the set of Immersive Galaxy mods. Achievements aren't blocked for me so either you have another mod active that modifies the checksum or you've altered one of the games files.

The mod my work, but it is no longer achievements compatible. With this enabled game says the checksum has been modified
