There is a 5 sec timer that autocloses the door.
You can deactivate it in terminal, search for "door timer"

No. But it does uses some modules and design principles of Nyx, so it looks similar. You can not actually make Nyx into yaht without reworking all ship.
Put two ships together and compare in actual game.

@zeckmon3 Unless something has changed in the last few days, if you want it to build a small grid you have to have it on a small grid to start with. I normally put one small landing gear on my build pad and a few light armour blocks going up. Then stick on a reactor just above the landing gear, a control panel just above that and a projector at the top. All good :-)

survival projector only use the largest grid... ;-;

@Staro Ultra use the F10 menu in creative mode and paste it in (ctrl+v after copying to clip board), or the projector to make it in survival mode.
