can you do without molotov

so gascan burns just as long as the molotov figures

hey just wondering which pcf file you used for the gascan a friend is trying to make the molotov particle last longer so i said why not use the gascan fire particle on the molotov since it burns almost twice as long

@x67xNemesiSx67x That's because laser sight and first person molotov flame animation share the same file. I had too much free time today and modified said file to make them both work. I uploaded the new add-on to gamemaps so other people won't b!tch about me cluttering the workshop.

I deleted a few mods, IDR which, and now my particle stuff is working again. Idek what the problem was in the first place...

It shows up in my in-game menu just fine, it's just when I was messing around with another blue flame molotov, it seemed like something happened, and the flames were normal again, if not brighter orange. I didn't have both enabled at once, either, and nothing was conflicting.

@Fruittymcnutty Honestly, I have no idea what might have caused that. Do other addons work or is it a problem only with these 2? Have you tried moving the addon to "Steam>steamapps>common>Left 4 Dead 2>left4dead2>addons" folder then double-clicking it? Do addons even show up in addon menu?

The black rock one made the fire blue as well, but with aqua tinges mixed in.

The black rock shooter one worked for a while, but then I got this, and at some point they both stopped working.

Every time I try and use this, it doesn't work. I even tried verifying my game files, and still nothing.
