when i download the map it was red and i couldn't play on the map which was weird anded i tried to keep install but still was red

i remember this map i played game for android called nextbots in backrooms and i like this map and finnaly i found it

This map is my go-to when I'm bored and want to play some gmod. This map would be 100% perfect if it was bigger. 8/10

the best sandbox map ever, so good, i love the design, the different sections, the art style, played around 40 hours on this map so far

An issue with the bunker with the 4 rooms is that when entering the bunker by elevator underground, when a bunker door opens, it causes the frame rate to go down for what reason is unknown to me.

Yeah, it does have nextbot support, but the mesh is very simple, so don't expect NPCs to be super smart.

So when you say navigation mesh, do you mean for Nextbot too? That would be so fucking cool as not a lot of maps i play work with them

The water texture I used is water_13 from gmod. You generally would want to avoid _beneath, _cheap and the movingplane texture. Other than that, I'd recommend trying diffrent textures and how they fit your map and its atmosphere. Water textures from cs:s also look pretty neat, so if you can, use them also. Don't forget to use water_lod_control(look it up on the wiki). Hope I helped :).

This is an awesome map me and my friends fell in a well... i mean in love with it the first time we played it. Very well made! The surper deep pit is a great addition goes great with this song:

For me, it was about 4 weeks total, but working around 10-12 hours daily. I've started making this back in winter of 2016, i did get bored and left it, came back recently and decided to finish it. The thought of completing and releasing it was the thing that kept my going.

how much time does it take to make such a map? i've never tried to make big maps, how do you find the inspiration and envy to do it and not close hammer after 10 minutes because you get bored ?

The machines are just decoration. The warp points in the arenas are one way, the rest are not, but i'm working on it now, the fix should be up soon.
