Would t be alright for me to use this on a server?

Clone Wars is and Clone Troopers is about the only part of Star Wars I really care about. And I like the 187th Cody'like Commander so there!

Again clearly the person you talked too doesn't care about lore and you don't either...cause people I talk to laugh at that model calling it a purple Commander Cody... So again if sub par is good enough for you then eh guess its good enough for everyone!

I think people can see that, they don't need warning. No one else has said it looks "silly" so apparently there isn't an issue with it, that's what I'm trying to get at. If it had been an issue I would've changed it ages ago

Exactly, you just said it, no one else cares because it's Garry's Mod. It was suggested to me by the other contributor on this pack to use Cody as a base model for this commander and with him being in the community a lot longer than me, I took the advice. The main reason I'm not editing the model is because I don't do modelling within gmod anymore, as can be implied from my lack of uploads (being that the most recent was last August) and updates, as well as the fact I literally haven't opened gmod since last September. I apologise that me no longer updating models isn't good enough for you but I will not be forced to change my decision

I haven't edited them in 2 years because I'm building my ACTUAL design career, I do not have the time to make models for gmod anymore. This was a hobby, it is not my job and I am not obligated to continue updating models as you so seem to think I am. I can take criticism, I have many times before but making a sarcastic comment is obviously not going to come across very well and not as constructive criticism.

Oh also I said modeling is hard and I understand that but you could of just gotten another Clone Officer model from your other packs and used that except for copying "E V E R Y T H I N G" about the Commander Cody armor even the shoulder antenna. Which again is a Lore character and is unique to that individual. (Also the scar isn't there on the Clone Commander like I thought it would be lol)

The fact that you have the ability to edit such a blatant copy paste model but refuse to do so because you cant take a little criticism is great. Its like saying I have the ability to make something unique but only if your nice to me. Also the fact that you wrote a paragraph responding to my posts shows that your very angry and probably very privileged yourself if its been 2 years since you have made the models then why didn't you edit them in those 2 years. Well because you thought that copy pasting from a LORE character was a good idea...when it just looks extremely silly. Also yes no one else has had a problem because its Garry's mod I personally just put down a comment to point out the copy paste and show others it. So again your welcome for the input.

No one else has ever had a problem with it, there's no need to be so agitated over something so simple. If this is the sort of thing that offends you then you're clearly very privileged. I made this nearly 2 years ago and had to rush them out since people were so desperate for them. I don't care that you think it's lazy. If it's such a simple thing to do, then do it yourself. The fact you're getting so annoyed about it makes ME laugh because who actually gets that offended at something like this. If you'd said your issue in a critical manner instead of being sarcastic and then continuing to throw insults around, I would've taken it into account and edited the model. Thank you for your input.

You have the whole world of star wars to draw inspiration from since we never see the 187th Commander a chance to make something unique or special and well like I said before you reused Commander Cody's armor to the letter and it's just...well lazy and funny

Reusing a LORE characters unique armor for another Commander is just silly not one other clone had that specific design of armor it just looks dumb and lazy. Reusing models for things like regular troopers and giving them different paint is fine as they don't have to be unique but Litterally taking a well known Lore characters unique armor and throwing a few more splashes of purple on it and calling it different....IS lazy. I understand modeling is hard but I saw this and couldn't stop laughing

So what? Using the same design doesn't make me any less capable of modelling, I chose to use the same design as a commander of that type in 187th doesn't exist but some people prefer to use it, rather than the airborne. Hence why I made it.

Lol your 187th Commander Model is literally a reskinned Commander Cody model... Really good modeling reusing the same model and just changing one color

I've added helmetless to all models, excluding the ARF, BARC, engineer and sharpshooter. I've had to exclude those as the file size in now rather large and I assume these models are least likely to be used. I will have to decrease the quality of some textures to compensate for adding the helmetless bodygroup, which I will do shortly

I understand that, I do helmetless models but at the time of making these models I didn't and I don't update these packs. I meant which model/s are you wanting this to be on?

Lots of SWRP models have the ability to take of the helmet in bodygroupr,and then they'd just have the standard clone trooper head under

The helmet of which model? I will think about it but I do not currently have the time to do these things unless it was a commission

I really like these models but we cant use them in our server becuase you cant take off your helmet, please add that.
