One Steam tag should be sufficient!

War of the Chosen

NOT war of the chosen!
NOT WotC!

I know someone might have asked this before, but this works fine outside of unrestricted customization, right? I'm not reporting a bug, I just need confirmation on whether or not this requires unrestricted customization or not, as well as if it works differently outside of unrestricted customization.

@Shavy well, the TLP's armors are kinda...bad. i get why they look so broken but it makes them look pretty ugly.
Mr. Tarzan 10 Jan, 2021 @ 5:01am
The basic kevlar helmet has hair clippping through it
Shavy 30 Mar, 2020 @ 9:26pm
"tactical legacy pack"

I really love those mods of yours bringing back those eu/ew looks, so I just wanna leave a thank you for your work on these!!!

Also noticed that on the female side, the hyperion armor and hyperion armor without straps (for thighs) are mislabeled (reversed); male ones are correctly labeled, though. Obviously not a deal since you can see it right away, just wanted to let you know.
SwartzT 5 Jan, 2019 @ 12:44am
Anyone else missing arm customization?
Dempy 4 Aug, 2018 @ 4:08pm
Hi, just to let you know, you've misslabled the left shoulder, and called it the thigh knife. other than that great mod!
Alandauron 26 May, 2018 @ 5:17pm
Hey Mr. Kablammo, I'm one of those silly people still modding EU/EW and we foind that someone else had some luck importing new models into the game so we're looking into replicating that. I was hoping you could PM me so I could ask you a couple things.
Wet Dog Squad 16 Mar, 2018 @ 3:13pm
Forgive me if this has been asked, but are there any plans to port over the Gene Mod armor from EW? I absolutely loved the legs those had, and the slimmer kevlar torso is a personal favorite of mine. Same goes for the deco options.
May'Sa 7 Mar, 2018 @ 2:13pm
Is there a simpler version somewhere without the additional customization options, workign within the usual game confines of body, arm, legs, etc.?
Seer of Souls 14 Jan, 2018 @ 1:45pm
A very minor complaint but the hyperion chest gear on the male variant has the flag on the back from the padded torso A stick out and make it have 2 flags
Attacan Nykos 9 Jan, 2018 @ 9:23am
idk if its just me but theres a lot of clipping wiht the elbow/knee pads in this mod. any kind of fix, or am i doing modding wrong?
Cocoanut 23 Dec, 2017 @ 8:18am
I'm not going to lie: I like the EW/EU armours much more than the base deco options, AC or Alien Hunters. I just want to say, Thank you.
ApocalypseMeows 19 Oct, 2017 @ 5:57pm
will you be able to port the guns for WOTC?
Miko - Heroic Studio 4 Oct, 2017 @ 5:13am
Fantastic Mod. Is there a way to get a mod for just the EU/EW Helmets for WoTC? If not, how could it be fixed in the ini to where we could only have the helmets and not the armor?

So I have a very weird bug when using this and the other 2 tier mods. Basically with these mods installed, my Character Pool is completely broken. All my previously created characters are fine, but if I create a new character, and then export it, then re-import it (or simply restart the game), and then select that character in the CP, the game completely randomizes my character. From each individual part, hair, eyes color, weapon color, even the voice pack.

I have to uninstall these 3 mods to get a working CP again. I am using the empty deco slots for soldiers/heroes, and I don't really know much about coding, but I did notice that it keeps selecting Shins: 2 even when I pick No Shins in the menu. Anyone else has this issue?

It sucks because I really like these mods, they look great. Thanks again! :)

Noice, ty dude, added and thumb upped :)
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] 15 Sep, 2017 @ 6:41am
I already did that, forgot on this one
Caliell 15 Sep, 2017 @ 5:47am
Also need to attach the link to Tier 2 and 3 mods as well to have empty slot sub mod as pre requisite.
Caliell 15 Sep, 2017 @ 5:45am
Alright that helped. Thanks much.

@Mr Kablamm0fish tried everything and still no positive outcome. The main problem is with added thigh slot which works as intended but provides no option to have no thigh slot items. Because of it, default 3 X com skins for thigh slots force themselves on everything.
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] 15 Sep, 2017 @ 4:35am
Use this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1124143474 I apperantly forgot to add it to the required items, although I did say it right at the start of the description, but ppppfffttt like anyone ever reads that.
Flodge 14 Sep, 2017 @ 12:18pm
Needs a 'nothing' option for each part.

I don't mind all the glitchy bad combos and working around that but having no option to remove an armour part entirely means uninstalling for now.
Foxin 13 Sep, 2017 @ 11:11pm
Is there a fix coming for parts getting stuck? I think there just needs to be a none option added.
Tunnel Snakes Rule! 13 Sep, 2017 @ 3:48pm
Confirming the same issue as Crayon Flux about flag textures occasionally breaking on some of the armors. Aside from that and the thigh slot issue, the classic armor pieces are really spicing up my soldier classes. Your work has been fantastic!
Caliell 13 Sep, 2017 @ 12:45pm
@Mr Kablamm0fish we need to have ability to remove the thigh slots that are added with mod. It causes severe problems with other cosmetics. Currently there is no way to have nothing as an option at thigh slots, so everyone running with glitched legs of X Com EU/EW plate attachments.
Crayon Flux 13 Sep, 2017 @ 7:32am
Love the mod! Although, flags does not show up on the back of the armours that has a slot for it. It has missing texture where the flags should be. Could be related to shader issues regarding WOTC?
SpazzyMcnugget 13 Sep, 2017 @ 4:56am
Mod looks good but needs a way to take off the slots. if you add them on you cant take them off.
Biggus Dickus 11 Sep, 2017 @ 3:16pm
@Mr Kablamm0fish Yeah I'm missing Anarchy's. Downloading a similar mod did the trick. Thanks
Alexandr 10 Sep, 2017 @ 2:57pm
No worries, Kablam. I think it looks a lot better in general, I don't mind the small difference in visuals. I haven't noticed any performance difference, personally, though my game has run very similarly to XCOM2 vanilla, in spite of optimizations/performance fixes and all. :(
Caliell 10 Sep, 2017 @ 2:24pm
Need help with removal of thighs slot or modifying it with option of have "None". Currently leg armor plates wierdly attach themselves to any other armor regardless due to of no way ability to disable thighs.
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] 10 Sep, 2017 @ 10:51am
@Alexandr can't do much about that then, the X2 stuff is optimised for characters, I switched everything to cinematic for mine, looks nicer, probably hits performance.

@Mr_Papagiorgio Not exactly, I'm guessing you don't have Anarchy's? if a menu only has 1 option, the game doesn't show the menu (it's a WOTC thing, and mildly annoying), so the only way of getting it to work is to grab another mod which also has l+r arm slots.
Biggus Dickus 10 Sep, 2017 @ 8:06am
@Mr Kablamm0fish Much appreciated.

I assume this is an issue with my setup as opposed to the mod itself but I'm not seeing drop down bars for right or left arm options in the character pool. As such, I'm unable to use the EU arms at all.

I figured it was a mod conflict so I uninstalled all mods, deleted my config folder contents, and reinstalled the game but the issue persists. Any idea what might be causing this?
Alexandr 10 Sep, 2017 @ 5:11am
Correct, on the default X2 armors. It's like they look slightly more plasticky and blurry or somesuch.
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] 10 Sep, 2017 @ 3:03am
Do you mean aliasing on default X2 armour? or something messing up with the textures on this mod?
Alexandr 9 Sep, 2017 @ 11:29pm
Actually, I hate to bemoan a change, but there's a veeeeeery slight additional aliasing effect going on with the change to the shaders applied to the character as a whole. I LOVE the way the old armor (from this mod, that is) looks now, but the XCOM2 armors look worse.
Alexandr 9 Sep, 2017 @ 9:02pm
Holy shit. The new (original-looking, haha) textures for this rules!
C. Justice 9 Sep, 2017 @ 4:18pm
@Mr Kablam0fish - That is appreciated and thank you for keeping it original :D Out of all the Kevlar type gear in XCOM 2, this EU Port is by far my favourite. Something about XCOM EU/EW that is just legendary and the armour they used in said game was fitting :)
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] 9 Sep, 2017 @ 3:54pm
@Mr_Papagiorgio + Lieutenant A.Kouassi I see what I did, apperantly lightened those parts of the tint map for some reason, I'll darken it back like how it is in EU/EW.

Edit: Well darken it a bit anyway, the arms do follow primary colour in EU/EW, just darker

@Bones The "fix" is for people with stuck torsos, the decos got moved to the TorsoDeco slot.
C. Justice 9 Sep, 2017 @ 3:24pm
Just a preference thing but agree with a few posts down. I much prefered the style of Kevlar Arms prior to the update. It just looks.....odd now having it the same colour as Primary setting. Stood out before :S (But is what it is :) )
Afrasabi 9 Sep, 2017 @ 12:54pm
The fix makes the two torsos re-appear in the list, but they're invisible. Removing the fix makes the torso's disappear from the list entirely.
[Dolt] Ewokz 9 Sep, 2017 @ 11:46am
Yeah all fixed so no worries, figured I'd just give you a heads up.
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] 9 Sep, 2017 @ 11:33am
@K.Constantine What attachments?

@Mr_Papagiorgio I haven't touched the tint maps this update, or the base kevlar textures for that matter.

@[Dolt] Ewokz did you do the torso fix?
[Dolt] Ewokz 9 Sep, 2017 @ 10:49am
Um I've got an invisible torso bug issue again since this update. Most of my guys seem ok but one guy got bugged. Thought I'd give a heads up.
Biggus Dickus 9 Sep, 2017 @ 10:41am
Do you plan on changing the color of the base kevlar arm back to the dark green it was before the deco update?

Currently, the main armor color option sets the sleeve and the armor colors, while the secondary armor color sets the legs. In this setup you can't have the arms and legs as one color and the armor as another.
K. Constantine 9 Sep, 2017 @ 10:12am
Is it possible to move the "attachments" to the "Torso Gear" section of the customization menu?
T-13 9 Sep, 2017 @ 9:34am
Great work. Some these are better than the vanilla suits! Works well with Wotc.
