@pedro I was looking for the exact same thing for the longest time and I just found in the XCOMClassData.ini file for the mod. The class name is: SPARTANII-Class

@Romrojal_Spartans in non rpgo mod use all weapons by default, so don't worry and unlike this mod they have their own suits that are equiped with 6hp shields by default which can regenerate by one point per turn in side of the mission.

One more thing to add to previous discussion i made about tougher AI in response to bringing more than one SPARTAN per squad. Obviously your SPARTANS at the very beginning have much more health than any other soldier and they have by default integrated as a part of the mod their own shield that has 6 hp in total i think. And if you even add to them LW2 vests which do the same...well...don't blame anyone when AI decides what enough is enough and sends everything they have at you...lol. Off course you can make them even more tougher by adding PCS to increase dodge further and even sending them to be trained by faction's to again further their own natural dodge...how much more than do you think AI has issues at their hand at even hitting them in first place...lol

Something for you all to keep in mind since this class and the new one from RPGO-NON-RPGO Class are working as intended. Here's a warning if you do decide to play like i do on legendary and you bring more than one SPARTAN per squad you will be hit with the most powerful units the AI can cook up. That is especially true if you run mods to increase pod sizes per force level and many more. I am only saying this since i myself am a masochist for this game and i love the tougher the better.

@Arc I use Commander's Choice to do that. That way 100% you can get your soldier to become SPARTAN II. I know, i tested it.

Ok since I know the mod's dead I'm gonna ask about the SuperSoldiers: Classes, Perks & Equipment (WOTC) - Non-RPGO Version of the spartan 2 class, mainly what sort of weapons do they use. do they stick to rifles or can they use other weapons like shotguns, sniper rifles, cannons? I'm asking here because the developer of the SuperSoldiers mod disabled the comment section for all of them and I really need to know.

Hey mein spartan 2 kann die rüstung nicht verwenden woran liegt das ?? es steht nur da das der soldat ein spartan sein muss was er ist extra ausgebildet aber die rüstung kann nicht verwendet werden

RPGO one requires you to change the entire games classes system though, not ideal if you just want to add Spartan 2s and only spartan 2s

Does anyone know if the older version (the one for the long war perk pack) works in WoTC. I feel like that was more of a complete version. I'd try to finish this if I could; sadly I'm not talented in coding.

Am I the only one who's Spartan II's just float and shoot frozen instead of actually bashing the enemy? The Bash ability animation seems messed up for some reason. Help?

unfortunately, in the description he cant continue the mod, so any compatibility patches will have to be made by the community

Excuse me but is there any way to force a soldier to become a Spartan-II through console commands? I made a character who in the character pool was supposed to come out as a spartan (not one hundred percent sure how the cp works with that anyway) and the unit instead of coming out as a Spartan-II came out as a grenadier. If you could help to answer this question I'd greatly appreciate it! So far the mod when I experimented with it seemed pretty good.

hahahaa sorry man i dont know what to say, the config is literally nothing ele but a bucked, and the numbers in it get poured straight into "sheild amounr" / "armour amount" i dont have the foggiest why it would bug after configuring, gald yo ugot it to work :)

Really hope you've got an answer for me...I run my Spartan as my frontline tank. He did great for me during my Commander run but now on Legend, no shield? I'm honestly baffled, all I did was reduce the Armor to 2 and the Shield to 4.

I just unsubbed and subbed again...the line looks fine to me, save for the altered numbers. Yet the Shields still do not show up?

For some reason, the shield doesn't show up on my Spartan. Admittedly, in my last campaign, I thought the shield and armor was too much so I had dropped it from 6/3 to 4/2 respectively.

The 2 armor does show up but not the 4 shield?

The line in your mod shows this...I'm pretty sure I did something wrong here:

There's probably a space I'm missing there between the 2 and PASSIVE?

hmm odd, i did hear that glitch can happen without the whole pistol AND sword thing, but i dont know what causes it. all i know this mod cant be the cause of it, but it could be the thing that makes it show up. nothing i can do unfortunatelly.

it just happend if i go with spartan on mission so far, and it doesnt happen always, last mission my
custom class used shooting as slash animation, and the skirmisher did fine, mission before the skirmisher used the hit with weaponshaft animation, and my customclass was fine... both have no pistol
so far, it rly jst happens if i go with the spartanclass on mission, maybe i find another mod
the hit with weapon dont rly bother me, just the one arm shooting with a heavy gun in melle range is too weird

@rambelzambel i kinda suspect its another mod because i intentionally kept slash like abilities out of this class (for that exacty problem) any class that can have both a slash and a pistol has this problem, sometimes. did you do something to your skermishers?

this mod conflicts with abilities, if u go with this class on a mission, the skirmisher use the melee animation of this class for slash, and other classes use shooting for slash, they still run in melee range and do melee dmg, but using the shooting aanimation

KainDeamon so you kept the allowedweapons as the same. but when you mean the first tier, is it corporal or squadie?
