It was working great then they despawned and I got the WC weapons error in game.

To be clear, WeaponCore is disabling/removing non-WC weapon blocks because:

The WC team and other mods are receiving a constant stream of "bug reports" and confusing users due to internal incompatibility between WeaponCore and mods based on vanilla weapons. There is a "vanilla whitelist" for known compatible mods, such as Gwin's Beam Drill mod.

Because it's not WC, it uses vanilla turrets, I wonder if I add a set of turrets that are weapon core if it wouldn't

So they don't turn? 'Cause I was asking if they were like Gatling turrets or Gatling blocks. fixed, always aiming in one direction or aiming around to face threats. I know they are blocks rather than moving NPCs

they are placed, and stay, like a turret, nothing fancy like that other mod that has moving NPCs, this was made ages ago when there was no other options

As a related idea to this mod, could you do a maintenance engineer that's a welder block re-skinned to look like an engineer with a welding tool?

Ok, just curious if that would work or not since it would be neat to see that. Cool mod though by the way, didn't even know of this till last night. I did notice the firing sound appeared to be missing though, along with the projectiles firing from middle height instead of from the gun.

Is something like this also possible without requiring power to function? These could make for a fun battle scenario out on various planetary terrain grouped with ground vehicles for the appearance of having an army.

That would be ideal, but I had no way of controlling those animations, you can set the turrets to no idle movement

it would be nice if they would be "at ease" (gun down) and not move much, then find a target and switch to this position

A neat additon, with a use case more for small ships than large, would be sentries in passenger seats. This would be great for the "shooting out of a helicopter" look and similar.

So I've been using this with a few other mods (including your Piloted Cockpits) and for some reason all of the icons are broken (four errors in the log and only a + as the icon) and the default Engineer turret has no muzzle effect when shooting, while the others do.
Also, just a thought, have you considered adding the Skeleton skin to this pack? Could work as a sort of Pirate-themed thing.

over and over and over. I think you left a debug message in? It does bog the server down a little as a result.

why did nobody come up with this before? awesome idea. It's a cool feature that you can conveyor them up unlike interior turrets.
