unless indoor and outdoor were added extremely recently, there are none as far as i can tell, although there is reverb applied to the outdoor effects when in certain buildings. And if i could port the sounds, i would have.

Im looking for tutorials but really didnt find anything :/ Do you know anything about it? Is it possible to port sound files from ue4 to source? I heard squad has inside the building and outside building sounds too and I started to think that its not compatible with the source engine

Oh all my sounds are manually recorded either on the range or in the case of the sks, recorded in the middle of a firefight where i got lucky and nothing interrupted it (aside from an IED that went off 3 seconds after i shot).

Oh... Now Im trying to port the sounds from a pirated squad because I dont have money :C

I believe i stated this before, boosting the sounds causes clipping, which makes all of the gunshots sound like they were recorded using a walkie-talkie, and also results in some major audio glitches :/

@Teus_BR This is where some issues start to rise. I could either artificialy make them distant, or i could get a friend with squad (dont have one) and record each weapon at a distance for those. That is the most likely option that im going to take, although, i would like to get my hands on some of the files, not only to add distant sounds, but to improve upon these sounds.

Nice now we got popcorn sounds in insurgency too. LMAO

i dont think any handling, movement or explosion sounds changed since 7.7, so i think you can just install the 7.7 first, and then this one, but the weapon sounds might not work due to lots of conflicting files, but if you install this second it should replace the 7.7 weapon sounds

wish it was the full sound mod :P

speaking of insurgency sounds for things, im surprised noone has made an Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat sound mod. welp time to get to work.

i recorded these, although i could try to extract the raw sound files from the game using ue4

how did you get these sounds, if I can ask? did you extract them from the game' files or did you record them?
