Glad you found it after all these years. :) Please keep in mind that because it is so "old" now it maybe will not work any longer as it is intended.

I honestly don’t know how I didn’t find this sooner. This would be perfect in my futuristic city, perhaps as the centrepiece of a planetarium or science centre.

I can't download this. Pluto is missing.

I love this thing. It seems that the surface under it isn't painted though so grass pushes through it. That might just be a me issue though. I go rid of it by downloading a mod that gets rid of decorative grass altogether, which is fine because that stuff is ugly. Painting the surface under it in game with surface painter also got rid of it.

Nice, i would love to see other screens from people using it, or featuring it on youtube. :)

Thank you for fixing that issue! I have it as a centre of a roundabout and it looks great at night:

Thx 4 the feature BonBon. :) @others: I found why some people had problems with the plaza not showing up. This problem should be fixed now.

Polar.... you've surpassed yourself. I was pleased with building a working sundial out of props, but this.... Needless to say, it'll be appearing on What Map this week! Well done!!!!!!!

thx oTTrr :) Sadly i have to say "no, not in the near future" it's a lot of work and i had to redo almost everything. But maybe this is an option for you: Because you have all planets available you can make a baseplate of your own. Use ModTools to extract the model, change the baseplate texture, and save the new plate. Ingame you now can place the planets manually onto your new baseplate. As long as you use MoveIt and Prop Snapping/Precision, that should not be a pain in the ass.

This is amazing! I'm blown away, really this is outstanding, and a great idea. Could you possibly make a version without the blue galaxy print on the ground? I feel like it would go better with my concrete jungles that way. Subscribing either way!

oh my gosh THANK YOU

Hmmm, maybe the download wasn't succesfull, it's quite a huge package, i suggest you redownload it.
alborzka 14 Sep, 2017 @ 10:29pm
No, I looked at all of the parks and none of them were this one... it's very odd, I can find all of the planets, but not the plaza :(
Polarstorm  [author] 14 Sep, 2017 @ 10:03pm
The Plaza is listed in the "Park Section". In this section it is listed under the little icon with the grey people. Found it?
alborzka 14 Sep, 2017 @ 9:49pm
Hmm, for some reason I can't find it anywhere? All the planets come up in FindIt! but not the plaza itself :/
Polarstorm  [author] 14 Sep, 2017 @ 8:27am

One of the best asset across the Workshop!
Polarstorm  [author] 13 Sep, 2017 @ 3:35am
Maybe he has archived it via an "Animation Clip", there are different methods to make animations. I talked with boformer and ronyx about this, because it bothers me too that the lod isn't rotating, but we didn't find a way to make it work. So if you knew someone who knows how to make animation clips, or at least how to animate the LOD (and NOT only the UVs of the LOD) tell him he should gimme a call, i would be glad.
HatsuneKid 13 Sep, 2017 @ 3:26am
Yes I've been using that mod for a century.
Just because I know someone who also makes asset and he said it's possible. But he didn't tell me how to make it work. @hikke
Polarstorm  [author] 13 Sep, 2017 @ 3:10am
As example, i adjusted my "LOD distance multiplier" from 0.25 (vanilla) to 0.4. This setting gives good results (on my machine), but you also can try out the other settings from the mod, just make tiny (and i really mean it "tiny"!) adjustments, no need to set everything to max.
Polarstorm  [author] 13 Sep, 2017 @ 3:06am
Sorry Hatsune that isn't possible (sadly). If you have problems with the rotation/animation please use the "Adaptive Prop Visibility Distance" Mod (as mentioned in the description). You only have to adjust the "LOD distance multiplier" a little bit and it will work.
HatsuneKid 13 Sep, 2017 @ 3:00am
emmm... nothing happened. I want it to have a rotating LOD!!!
Polarstorm  [author] 13 Sep, 2017 @ 2:41am
Rise and shine Mr. Hatsune, rise and shine...
HatsuneKid 13 Sep, 2017 @ 2:35am
Can't wait to see a Super Nova shining in my house ^^
Polarstorm  [author] 12 Sep, 2017 @ 8:45pm
Uhm, a black hole? What dou you expect to see beside..uhm.."nothing"? :D Anyway, the galaxy only is possible as a rotating picture, because if i model something that looks like the galaxy for real the tri count would be above sanity. So "no" i do not plan this, but maybe i do another Plaza with Jupiter and his moons or something like that. The problem is the scale and that it is not possible to let things rotate with decimals (if it is with decimals the rotation resets every 7 ingame days :( ) so i need to have a look if it is possible in an accuryte way with the rotations of jupiters moons.
alborzka 12 Sep, 2017 @ 8:41pm
Any thoughts on having a rotating galaxy or black hole kind of plaza/"statue"? :D
