This doesn't change the effect of the Covert Action, only which classes can go on it.

The "Increase Combat Intelligence" covert op has been removed in the latest version of LWOTC. Can this mod bring it back?

uhh i cant find any configs to edit with my word text editor and I did start the game to the main menu and 3 that seems to go in there apone install dont seem to do any special x.x
do i need to creat the config myself or am i doing something wrong?

It might be helpful to know what kind of update you are looking for. Did you find a bug? Do you want the mod to work better with another mod? Do you want an additional feature? 'please update' tells the mod creator absolutely nothing.

I've heard that this mod might be redundant at this point.. That it's been incorporated in the highlander or something.. Is that true?

This is a great mod, helps level out the playing field, and still gives extra AP options to soldiers.

However, is there something that can be added to still give a chance for soldiers to have an increased CI upon generation? Or rather remove something to allow it to continue to happen?

Apart from enabling it you don't do anything, it removes a restriction on what soldier types you can send on a type of covert action.

Maybe you can help me to better understand modding:

This line:
if (Unit.ComInt >= eComInt_Savant || !(Unit.GetSoldierClassTemplate().bAllowAWCAbilities || Unit.IsResistanceHero()))

Richard's hero rework mod (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1369915922&searchtext=hero) sets bAllowAWCAbilities to true on heroes. Richards SPARK rework (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1374683550) sets bAllowAWCAbilities to true on SPARK.

Using this mod, only the heroes are able to go on CI coverts, but SPARK still cannot go.

My question: what is Unit.GetSoldierClassTemplate().bAllowAWCAbilities? Does it include SPARK and the hero classes? If it doesn't then what might be the SPARK equivalent (any random guess or suggestion for where to find it would be appreciated)?

Oh figured it out, for those that want custom classes to be able to raise combat intelligence just make sure to set or have

What exactly fixed it for you @b.hejda ? This isn't working for my existing game either. I've disabled and re-enabeld it again and the faction heroes are definitely not Savants. My Mox has a Stadard Combat Inteligence, but I can't send any faction heroes and I have 4 (2 Reapers, 1 Templar and 1 Skirmisher)

Robojumper, have you considered submitting some of your bugfix mods (maybe not this one as it's a little subjective) to the XCom2WotCHighlander team?

Having more and more bugs fixed at what is likely to be the source of a bunch of mods would be fantastic

This mod generally works in existing campaigns.
Either the mod isn't enabled for some of you, or your heroes are all savants.
