Correct me if I'm wrong, but this makes absolutely no sense.

They are capable of containing base metals like Copper, Iron, as well as Silver, Gold, and the alloy metal Platinum.
However they do not contain other alloy metals like Steel, DuraSteel, Titanium, and Tungsten. These metals don't occur naturally.
Also, the fantasy metals Violum and etc clearly would only be present in a Sci-Fi fiction and games, and if they would appear, they would be very VERY rare.
This mod is very nice, but very unrealistic since the only ores that should ever be common is Copper, Iron, Silver, Gold and Platinum, and everything else should be VERY rare.
I just checked, Tungsten does not spawn on asteroids in vanilla, so if you have seen it then this mod is working.
Keep in mind that ores can spawn in the centre of asteroids where you can't see them.
Asteroid fields are not affected by tier. Do you have any other mods installed?
