@ Richard:

It's about the GTS Perks. As you said, the GTS perks of deactivated classes do not affect the game. But it bothers me again and again to see these GTS-Perks (it's just my fault). I have looked at your files and found several entries for the GTS Perks, for example the GTS-Perk incognito of the scouts. Is there no way to remove these perks from the files without disturbing the function of your mod?

We (players using modder's mods) probably dont say it a lot, so thank you very much for your effort. I have been using this and other mods for as long as I can remember and I love them, they change the game for good. Hope this helps; good job and see you on the battlefield.

Hey guys, I really like ur mod, here is one question, I want to learn all ability per every level, but when I get promotion, I can only choose one ability, if there is some way to learn all abilities plz tell me, thank you very much~~

@ Richard: Which mods for example? I was looking for this type of mod, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything. I don't rule out that I may have searched incorrectly due to the language barrier. It would be really nice if you could help me in this case.

By the way, I have all your classes in action (including my german translation of your mod). Via Ini files, I have adapted these classes a bit for myself (also for practice). After my modifications, I realized that I've created two specialized classes for the 4 standard classes. In that sense, I came up with the idea that an option would be appropriate in the game, that in the form of a tree under each of the 4 classes each of 2 specializations are selectable. It is a nice approach, above all, the player has an additional incentive to develop his soldiers.

What do you think of the idea? Could you implement something in the game?

@Vorlod not that i know of but there are mods to restrict what classes you can choose from on promotion

@natthias what light armor is it? The default game ones should work. You only change soldier armor if you want reaper or tlp stuff

Hello, i have an assassin and would like to give her a light armor. But only medium armors are allowed. The config says armor type "soldier". Do i have to replace this with something else?

@Vorlod i dont know of anyway to soft disable or hide gts perks but they wont affect your gameplay if they are visible

Via the ini-files I can deactivate classes. Unfortunately the perks of the deactivated classes are still displayed in the guerilla tactics school. Can I deactivate these perks in the ini files? I can't find the appropriate setting.

I've rebuilt your SWAT class a bit. I even managed to exchange 3 skills using the ini files. This is not as hard as I thought.

So a question for you as a professional: Where can I see all the standard class capabilities of XCOM2 in terms of name and description? Yesterday I struggled to find the skills, it is complicated by the language barrier (English is not my native language).

@Vorlod you can do whatever you want in the ini files its fine but keep in mind when I update this it will overwrite your settings. It's looking Like I'll be cutting down the classes to 8.

I changed the weapon of your SWAT class from shotgun to bullpup via the ini files.

Is that okay if I only do that via the ini files or are there conflicts?

Don't be angry, I think the SWAT class is just perfect as a fast mobile class with a bullup :)

But I would like to replace the grappling ability with another ability. Is this also possible with the ini files? I have a very slow internet, so I don't want to download the XCOM2 developer tool with almost 100 GB.

@Sellsword no the redux is fine as it is, nothing planned for it works with TLP features and the LW secondaries work but require the highlander (which works now too)

@Sellsword I'm having a little trouble deciding what to do with the classes. I've become more fond of my Redux version with 8 classes as there is a lot less perk overlap. I don't know if I should cut down the classes (as in disable some by defaut so people can re-enable them) to match up closer to that version which is what the balance changes and extra abilities/cleaner code will be ported from.

@Rys no this mod disables vanilla classes. I don't think the lw stuff works in wotc unless it's a ported version. A lot of the ability code is differeny from x2 to wotc

i have a question, does this mod disables the LW2 Classes and Perks mod? becauses i'm having an error with that mod and this is one of the mods that i use the most.

I'm going to be pushing an update for this mod in a few days. It will feature an overhaul of the class perk trees, the most recent updated perks and balance changes from the Redux version (which I tend to support the most) and support for classes to use TLP armors.

So, after doing some converting from the 2-perk version into 3-perk version (with the help of class rebuilding console commands), the third line of abilities never shows up. I have uninstalled the 2-perk version. Any tips?

Hey man, big fan of this mod, started a new playthrough with it, not terribly far in but noticing I can't select any of the third row of perks on levelling up. I'm also using LW2 classes and perks (seems like overkill but I couldn't remember which one had which classes/perks and which I had liked more) which worked on my last playthrough, if I remember correctly it just gave me a lot of duplicate/similar options but now I'm locked out of choosing that third row. Only the first two trees are highlighted/selectable. Any ideas on a fix? If not it's not the end of the world, I can restart and might try the 3 perk redux by itself instead (or RPGO with your perks, now that I have a better idea what perks I like and what complements what. Actually, might do that anyway). Anyway, thanks for your work and let me know if you have any ideas

I am not certain I understand how this mod is supposed to work. Have a unit with 14 personal AP who can't spend them at all. Plus I have 21 group ap and can only spend them on the Reaper and Templar. What gives/?

@Post Scriptum it deals critical damage I think, although that probably isn't double I guess. It's probably wrong.
@Jim Raven yes because the Assassin has a sword and the Marksman has a pistol.

Heyo. My marksman can Overwatch after moving ( squadie ) with snapshot but My assassin Cant (both sniper rifles). Is that intentional?

currently enjoying the mod, its awesome and there's so much variety

oh by the way, I noticed Demolition's Explosive shot saying it deals double damage
but it seems like it actually doesnt do double damage(it did less damage than Deadeye actually)
is this intentional? I'm just getting confused by its description.

Yes but it requires an edit for every rank of every class you are using. The hp value is set between 0 and 2 per rank

Oh wow i never knew that hidden potential can stop a certain stat from increasing. I just thought it further increased other stats.

So is there a way to edit the hidden potential via ini or mcm?
