@NotSoLoneWolf

I notice in your Halo 5 High Res integration example, there is a line DLCName="Halo5HighResArmor",

Is this something we need to add to our integrations also? And if so, is it the DLC identifier in each specific mod that is correct to use?
Reno 8 jan 2023 om 12:55
@Alpha
I also find it off putting to manually end my turn, is there a way to change the config so the ability takes an action to perform?
Press_START 29 aug 2022 om 17:55
@Alpha, maybe grants a bonus to mobility, and adds the reaper concealment for the unit wearing the suit?
Alpha 14 jan 2022 om 14:45
I love the mod btw, great work! The smoke ability has saved me many times. If you're ever looking for another project I'd recommend adding SPI to this mod - something with a camo ability though obviously not as durable as the MJOLNIR.
Alpha 14 jan 2022 om 14:44
Hey there, not sure if you still check this, but as mentioned by Coolio Wolfus on Dec 7th 2017, you have to manually end turns due to the extend shield ability. Not sure if this was intentional, but it seemed like a bug to me, and definitely kills gameplay pacing. Is there any way you could fix/update this or walk me through how to do it myself?
Nero 14 jan 2022 om 8:36
does this not work in an ongoing campaign where you have research most of your trees?
BlazinHothead 30 dec 2020 om 17:31
Do the shields work with "[WOTC] Energy Shield Overhaul"? If not then how do I get them to?
PostwarSword 22 sep 2020 om 19:03
I can't seem to get this mod to work for WOTC. Please help!
RakkoHug~<3 11 apr 2020 om 16:40
Thank you very much for the wonderful mod, Lone Wolf :)

Would it be possible for you to consider adding Heavy armor classification support for your armors?

Thank you :)
Shavy 22 mrt 2020 om 18:46
LWOTC?
Cody Bayliss 2 mrt 2020 om 15:05
Could you add a vest that has the same regenerative shield as the armor? I want to have regenerating shields with everything!
Zeri 21 jan 2020 om 22:35
TO ANYONE WITH CRASHING ISSUES (especially at game launch):
If you have ever subscribed to the previous versions of the mod (pre-WOTC, as in the LW2 and Vanilla versions), please unsubscribe from those versions and check Steam->SteamApps->workshop->content->268500 and search "Superheavy" to determine if the old version is still around. Delete it if it is. XCOM 2 will try to load those files even though you've disabled them in the launcher, so you need to make sure the non-WOTC versions aren't crashing your WOTC game.
If you are still having problems, it's probably a steam installation issue after that, an incompatibility with another mod, or something wrong with the cosmetic integrations (like how you pasted them in or they're out of date, I don't know). Try using Unrestricted Customization - WOTC instead and reinstalling this mod.
Hope this helps you! :Kayto:
CigO_SmokeO_DoggO 13 jun 2019 om 11:34
also i forgot to ask, is there a way i can unlock the locked utility slot when equipping this armour?
CigO_SmokeO_DoggO 13 jun 2019 om 11:30
@NotSoLoneWolf ages ago i was talking to you about armour immunity and you said it was crashing a lot and you were busy so it was gonna take a while, any updates on that?
Doven_Doragon 19 mei 2019 om 21:26
I keep having an issue with the mod, I can still start the game and load everything fine but when I got to start a mission it keeps crashing. I've wiped the integrations that I want, and have de/and re subed to the mod itslef, with the default cosmetics it works fine though. I'm more wondering if I've done something wrong or is it a common issues.
No Mic Tweetus 16 mei 2019 om 9:58
Further, can this be made compatible with the sangheili mod?
No Mic Tweetus 16 mei 2019 om 9:58
Is this intergrated with the scriptless halo reach armor? It's based of Eternal's
kitsune_arrow 11 apr 2019 om 0:43
Is there anyway to fix the start up crash with this mod?
Fox Holiday 24 feb 2019 om 20:09
my game crashes upon start up with super heavy, any one got a some things I can try to fix this
DonYohKu 30 jan 2019 om 10:20
Just was wondering is there a console command I can use do get the armor right away? Wanting to check it out in game a bit but want to fast forward the process haha
spazz8263 25 dec 2018 om 5:52
you need better photos, i hae no idea whait im even looking at
Armedwithpuns 19 dec 2018 om 11:27
can you make it so the shield abilities cost an action?
Aristocrat 10 aug 2018 om 19:50
Fantastic mod but would it be possible to see an intergration with the MARK VI mod for WOTC? Thanks in advance.
Zeri 7 aug 2018 om 21:06
Yeah no prob. If anyone else shows up with problems I'll put down whatever I find out on my end.:owhero:
NotSoLoneWolf  [auteur] 7 aug 2018 om 21:04
I'm sorry, but I have no clue what the problem could be. Maybe try using the Alternative Mod Launcher? Also, this is gonna sound demeaning, but try unsubscribing, deleting the mod folder, and resubscribing if you haven't already.
Zeri 7 aug 2018 om 20:51
Verifying and reacquiring the configs didn't work. The old version of the mod (on Vanilla) works on my computer still, after a quick check. I'll look into the files myself for a little while, see if I can work it out.
NotSoLoneWolf  [auteur] 7 aug 2018 om 19:33
Oh. Never mind. I wasn't aware what the dump actually entailed, I assumed it would be another easy text file.
Zeri 7 aug 2018 om 19:10
The dump you want is utterly massive, like takes-five-minutes-for-Notepad massive (~84mb). It's also all garbledygook as far as directly reading it goes...
I can't even put it in pastebin, actually. Too large, throws error messages.
Presently letting Steam verify, and if that doesn't work I'll steal the configs off a friend. Will get back to you on that.
NotSoLoneWolf  [auteur] 7 aug 2018 om 17:53
It seems like several of the basegame config files are missing from the backup directory - if configs are missing from the main directory, the game should automatically copy replacements over from the backup directory, but it can't if they're missing from the backup. Can you try Verifying your game cache with Steam? Also, can you see if you can find this crash dump file the log mentions and pastebin it for me:

[0049.47] Log: Crash Detected: Dumping C:\Users\yourname\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Logs\XCom-CYNDER-CL326249-2018.08.06-20.13.33-Crash\XCom-CYNDER-CL326249-2018.08.06-20.13.33_Minidump.dmp
Zeri 6 aug 2018 om 20:27
Here you go, did one without the config wipe: https://pastebin.com/Ya7tiiDn
and one after wiping the Config file: https://pastebin.com/cQGwfYWL
NotSoLoneWolf  [auteur] 6 aug 2018 om 16:25
Okay, can you please launch XCOM 2 with JUST this mod enabled. Let it crash, then go here:

C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Logs

And open up Launch.log. Copy and paste absolutely everything in that and put it on a pastebin or something for me to take a look at.
Zeri 2 aug 2018 om 16:49
I'm getting crash on startup as well, though I can't really provide any more information on the issue than Blackmoon. I had the previous version of this mod working fine before WOTC and would very much like it back.
Atin92 12 jul 2018 om 16:46
Is there a way to deactivate the Overextend Shield ability? Besides of that i really love this mod, on of my Favorites
Blackmoon845 14 jun 2018 om 20:13
Hey NotSoLoneWolf, I followed your crashing on start up instructions, it still is crashing on start up. Not sure why. Your mod is the only one I have found with this problem. Which stinks, because I loved playing through the original campaign with my medics wearing the Mjolnir suits. Any other advice?

And yes, I did disable all other mods when I loaded up the clean config version.
Mimic Bait 22 mei 2018 om 12:01
would it be possible to make it so it supports Mk VI In War Of The Chosen?
Maccaebus 12 mei 2018 om 21:18
Just tossed it on one of my dudes and made him look like a Spartan III. Works great, though the part names are gone now for some reason. I doubt there's an easy fix for that, though, and it's hardly game-breaking. Thanks a ton!
NotSoLoneWolf  [auteur] 12 mei 2018 om 12:41
Done, look in the integrations section of the description above. Please let me know if it works, I haven't tested it.
Maccaebus 12 mei 2018 om 1:13
Does this mod support Eternal's Reach MJOLNIR Variants? Because that's easily my favorite Halo armor mod, and I'm sure integrating that particular mod would be a popular request.
Ranger Dimitri 30 apr 2018 om 17:20
Is their no easier way to intergeate mods into it? I can't be expected to know what file goes where and not make a mess of it -_-
NotSoLoneWolf  [auteur] 14 apr 2018 om 16:46
Close XCOM 2. Then go to this folder:

Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config

and delete every single file inside of it. Now launch the game with no mods. Then close the game and launch it again with only this mod. Let me know if it crashes or not after you've followed those instructions.

Keep in mind, this will wipe your graphics/gameplay/control settings in the Options menu, so you'll have to reset them to what they were.
† Alucard † The Noob! 7 apr 2018 om 12:06
Yes @SonOfMan, im 100% sure i have the WOTC version installed and non other.
SonOfMan 1 apr 2018 om 11:27
@Alucard Are you sure you have this version installed (WOTC) and not the Long War 2 version?
† Alucard † The Noob! 1 apr 2018 om 7:29
Hi
this mode is crashing my game at start, even when i turn of all other mods :/ help enyone plz. i realy whana use it.
Delta-118 31 mrt 2018 om 18:27
Does this have integration with the Halo Reach Armor?
Kimo' 6 jan 2018 om 5:38
Okay, I used the "Powered armor Immunities" for elemental resistance and it work just fine.
I also used "Armor and Vest Config" to add the abbility of the WAR armor to be a full covert to the Mjolnir armor. I tested both modification in game and it works, thanks Doggo :ccknight:
CigO_SmokeO_DoggO 6 jan 2018 om 4:24
@Kimoju, i did some research (for the both of us) look this up in work shop "WOTC Powered Armor Immunities" alternatively, "Armor and Vest Config" (i use this now) read the description of the mod. if you still need help add me and ill help you through PMs
Kimo' 6 jan 2018 om 3:49
Thanks mate, i'll try that later, howether, if i remember correctly, Mechanical Chasis do not protect from acid...
Maybe the perk given by the hazmat suit might be usefull there? I'll test that when i will have a bit of spare time
Kimo' 28 dec 2017 om 16:47
Hey, very nice mod mate. Just one suggestion tho, is it possible to add fire/poison/acid immunity?
Seems like a "must have" perk for tank imo.
Anyway, keep the good work!
Nikolajgs 19 dec 2017 om 6:03
dude! dude! it is back! the reach armors are back!
Coolio Wolfus 7 dec 2017 om 15:07
The end turn Extend Shield minor bug appears to be down to it classing as an AP skill costing 0 Blue skill rather than a no cost / Skippable at 0 AP White skill
