doesn't seem to convert to PO anymore

@pauljchris I have a problem with letter rotation in PO mode. all other assets work correctly. when I move the red, blue and green circles, the letters don't rotate correctly but just randomly jump, so I can't set the exact angle of rotation. how can it be solved?
does anyone else have this problem?

What does it mean to select texture first? I don’t understand this.

For those who say it's not working as PO, it does. You just need to select texture first.
It's true that it doesn't take the texture, only the shade of that texture...but I think it's made to be that way for a smooth and solid look.

i do what it needs to add a texture to it but it just appear with its white texture, doesnt aply mine, i know how to do it as i did it before with others PO assets, so its problem of these ones, can you fix it or tell us how to? please

thanks for these! Though it seems they are not accepting textures anymore. I have placed them with textures earlier, but now they only get the plain white. Other PO's get texture though.

These no longer convert to PO. Neither by clicking the convert to PO button before placing or by hitting Shift + P. They only lay flat so unless that is what you are looking for, these are now useless.

Not working unfortunately! I have no problem converting other props to PO, but these just refuse to convert for some reason.

Any version not requiring the procedural mod? For some reason it never worked for me. Maybe prop letters, even if not scalable?

Use the mod Find It and type "letter" or "number" into the search box. That should locate them. I am using the subscribed version ( not local) and they definately show up. When you locate them, click on the one you want so it appears on the cursor tip in th game world but do not place it in the world. Instead press Shift + P and it will turn into a procedural object and open the menu. No textures will be found be default, the model will default to pure white showing 0 textures. If you want textures, then create them as a 64 x 64 pixel solid colour bit maps in any image software such as Paint and them place them in the procedural objects texture folder.

The letters are not showing up in the menu, I have the Procedural objects mod installed and the asset pack but when I load the game on the Procedural menu it says 0 textures

While in rotate mode , use Page Up and Page Down in conjunction with the normal direction keys

It's like you can only rotate on the plane, how do you rotate it on three dimensions, how do you get it to stand up?

Ok all sorted with a new version uploaded. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I basically forgot to add the flag that enables texture swapping when saving all the assets. No need to add textures or any additional files. Should work now as intended as you can see from the "rainbow" screenshot uploaded above.

Or you could have two versions of these. One with the bitmaps included and one without. That way the file size really wouldn't have to be a issue as then it would be up to the players to decide. File size vs. versatility. Only problem I can think of then tho is it would be possibly more work for you to mange, as then you would then have 2 asset packs to make sure work when ever something changed or got broke vs. one. Just another idea. Thanks for these again tho!

Ok. Gald to see you found the problem. From a users perspective's, I would take the increased file size in exchange for the added versatilty and options. I mean, these are so,so useful already and if such a comprimise had to be made to get more out of them, then I am all for it. Maybe intergrading it with loadings screens mod's shared texture abality could be a good way of easing this problem. Just a thought and persepcive. Thanks again for all your help!.

Its not your problem its mine. I think for texture swapping I needed to have provided a texture with all the models , even if it was just a plain 64 x 64 white bitmap then the mod will enable texture swapping. I am undecided aboout this, on the one hand it will increase options and the versatilty of the digits , on the other it will bloat the size of the file quite signifiicantly since there are 36 models and they will all need to be resaved to include a bitmap.

I did what you said, and it kinda worked. You see, when I choose the standard cube and square(the shapes the mod comes with by default) , the black texture shows up as such and i can choose to apply it to them(those two shapes only). But when I chose you set of objects, there is no "chose a texture" option. Instead it goes directly to the munipulation tool, totally skipping that step as if I have none installed, or that option dosen't exist in the mod . I tried refreshing it(using the in game ablity the mod has) , restarting the game. But nothing works. Am I doing something wrong perhaps?. Thanks again for your help.

Hi thank you for your interest and and for all those positive comments.

With regard to the texture swap you need to open any image editing software of your choice such as Paint,Gimp , PS etc and create a brand new empty document with dimension of 64 x 64 pixels. Once you have done this then fill it with any solid colour of your choice and save this file in the textures sub folder of the procdural objects mod located on your local machine. Make and save out one of these simple bitmaps for every desired colour . Then when in the game you should be able select your desired colour for every single letter or number tha you place in the game world.

These are great!. Thank you. Now we can name parks, buildings. whatever in game to what we want AND have it be visible in the game world. Not just in our view. Awesome!. Quick question tho. When you say you "can change the colour by saving a 64 x 64 plain colour bitmap to the textures folder within the procedural assets mod folder", do you mean with something like MS paint?. Because textures.com (recommend by required mod author) dosen't have just plain colors. Am I doing something wrong?. Thanks again tho!.
