I'm unable to build a second Dyson Sphere no matter which system I've tried to build it in.
Do you have any idea why my dyson spheres are now only creating 1k energy when fully completed (rather than the usual 4k)?
Mod needed to be updated with the latest vanilla changes, which has now been done.
No; check https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1140780022 for that feature.
If what is being asked is why not edit the game files directly: those files may be updated/overwritten without warning. It also can cause fun validation issues with various software (such as the steam cache). The Stellaris mod framework allows the loading of mods to selectively load replacement files without modifying the underlying files.
If what is being asked is why not make a mod to do that, well, that is what this mod does.
SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Stellaris/common/megastructures/01_dyson_sphere.txt: fail_text = "requires_no_existing_dyson_sphere"
in the game?
It's possible, yes, but why five instead of seven?
Yup. 2.1 compatible.
Can you please add this to description of your megastructure mods so it's clear? Thanks!
Unfortunately, this mod is not ironman/achievement-compatible.
Try now (same save game should work). I think I made a no-no when I upgraded this to 1.8.2/3.
Here you all go: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1140752180
I will keep them separate since they are can work independently of one another. If there is a desperate need to combine them, it's not that difficult, and I can put up a new mod with the aggregation.
