just wondering if the missing texture maps is normal for this mod??

went to my loadout to check out my guns and bam seems like half my weapons are missing half of their texture maps. The C7 has normal texture around the receiver part but the butt stock and Barrel furniture are all Yellow. I have other guns in the same state all black or all Purple. I tried reloading the mods. still missing Texture maps on the weapons?

How do I find the weapons? They're not in there. I have both Assets and Modules installed and enabled.

Been looking through the comments here and on the assets page. Still don't know how to upgrade the weapons tier. Can someone help? How do I edit the ini file?

Is this still incompatible with LW2? It's working fine for me so far as I can tell, I just had to edit the mod files to put pistols in utility slot.

@tommy.griffiths - Just subscribe to both of them. You don't need one to subscribe to the other, you just have to have them both installed in order for the mod to work.

having issues installing. clicked to subscribe to mod., and says i need assets pack first. go to assets pack and says i need main module first. seems to be stuck in a loop. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Is this mod essentially different skins for the weapons, or does it actually add more weapons into the game? And if it does the latter, do you have to craft them or whatever it is, or can you just find them?

Is there any way to edit this mod so that the pistols show up in the utility slots? Because other than that, the mod works fine with long war. Anyone know how to do such a thing?

Hey. Is there a config to have the weapons upgrade with the vanilla upgrade schematics? Sorta like what your provided with the CVWeaponPackv2? I love the look of these weapons, I just don't want to have like 100 different upgrade schematics for individual weapons.

@Dongus you can comment out those weapons you don't want to see, by using the semicolon ; in front of the lines for those weapons/items.

Hi, I'd love to use your mod but I dislike how much it clutters the weapon loadout menu. I plan on using the XSKIN mod to supplement this however.

is there a way to somehow delete or hide the loadout list?

@Lamen yes you can fix the slots/damage/etc in their INI files... But be advised that is a lot of ini's to change so make a backup of them after you're satisfied

Klung the graphic remains the same on character, but weapons are upgraded tiwer to tier in load out Blue for Magnetic and Orange for Plasma

Strange,when i ran XXOM2 with this mod,it seemed cause the game fail to load portraits when hiring soldiers(also engineers and scientists). Is that because my laptop can not afford it?

Playing Halo throughout years, I would encounter people wanting "real guns." I was never that person and Subscribed to this on a whim. Boy was I surprised! Real World guns on Rookies cranks UP the immersion!
Be cool if guns were sorted by nationality and spawned accordingly to soldiers of matching nationality.
There are almost too many guns, it would be cool if they were split up somehow. I'd like these as tier 1 and then push everything back a tier, creating more tiers.

@erYsch Yes you can add lines to the Mod, and GameData, but be sure to use the games format.
I copy and paste in one of the original lines, and mod the pasted in one.
Added soldiers, if that class doesn't show up in the GameData folder, then go to the mod folder and change there. The loadout should default to Assault Rifle, or class specific.

@ErYsch you can define witch weapon is your default load out for soldiers, by changing the ini file in the XCOMGAMEDATA file look for: Loadouts=(LoadoutName="RookieSoldier" and copy in the weapon stat name from the Weapons ini that you want.

Hey, I have a question. I just noticed that every soldier took your P90 as a standard weapon. It is the first weapon (so on top of the weapon list) when selecting primary weapon loadout. How can I change this or add this to other mods?
I honestly don't want a "P90" as standard weapon for all my soldiers.

Are you able to upgrade these weapons in game? I mean like the default weapons? As in Magnetic, and other more powerful upgrades? Because if so I can't seem to find the ability to get these upgraded weapons.

Actually it works fine in LW2 as well. My prob is only that for some reason it effects lazer weaponry giving off the blue squares.

I'm using it with LW2 and I have 4 largish blue squares at the gun and target. All Legacy's stuff never states what mod it's actually for. Kinda annoying when its so good

Is there a list of names for the "tech" used in the ini files? I can only find ModularWeapons. I mean if I only want a weapon to be available when the magnetic weapons tech is researched, which tech name can I used?

@E3245: Sorry, didn't mean to belittle the amount of work required for the conversion to LW2. I've been investing time in finding out how to rebalance stats for the SMG for your and Krakah's old weaponpacks so far and I know how much awful boring coding is involved just to change some damage values in the inis. Huge thank you for even thinking about bringing your WoTC weaponpack to Legacy too.

I take it, for this pack a LW2 conversion will be massive amounts of work due to the huge number of guns you have included?

Anyways, I have practically no modding experience and have no clue where to even start with the attachments and the LW_Overhaul.ini but if you ever feel like taking up the LW2 conversion project, I'd like to offer you my help in this. With an example .ini and some instructions I'd probably be able to help you adjust the gun stats for LW2.

I rather do a separate module for LW2.

It's not a simple copy-paste job. You need to create 2 additional templates to the 3 you already have, expand the global stats to include these new tiers, add the T4 and T5 attachments, rebalance the entire stats to LW2s stats, and then create a LW_Overhaul.ini for the schematics and techs.

It's a tedious amount of work, but if anyone wants to try, feel free.

To answer the second question, I think they have a custom GameData_WeaponStats.ini somewhere in the ini folder, but it's been so long since I touched LW2.

@E3245: Well, for LW2, I think you did the major work with your last attempt at the LW2 rebalance mod for your mod collection already. Everything, down to SMGs work with some minor tweaks and lots of copypastaing. Could that method not be easily transferred to this mod?

It's just pistols probably that are a pain in the ass to mod in (havn't figured how to make them work myself yet).

Also, not saying, that you need to do all that work but would you know where one can find the templates for the weapon values of LW2 (it's probably in the LW2 ini folder but their ini documents are a fucking mess and really shitty to read imo)? Or maybe you found out how to mod in the pistols too?
