Some of my mods were resisting being updated in the launcher, might be due to being quite old. I apologise. You might have to use a different mod for a couple games and check for updates later.

I want to revive this as a way better mod but no idea when that'll be.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure I'll keep it version updated for the foreseeable future.
Still want to revive it and make it better but I've been wrestling with how to make it worth using, and how it'll play with 'Sins of the Prophets'.

I reinstalled both mods a few days ago and now is working for some reason. Works for me I guess

Don't know then. Probably won't get fixed in the near future, so maybe in the next mod version.

Genuinely can't see a reason that bug would start if the game hasn't been updated, and I don't have the old files.
When I figure out how to implement the next version that should be fine.

Weird to get two identical bugs reported when the mod hasn't changed.

They show fine in my game, but I believe you, I'll ask some Steam friends to test it too. I want to republish this asap anyway so it's not too bad.

There wasn't any ship assets in Covenant Species. If you mean SOTP then it's not something I'm going to borrow stuff from since it's already actively developed, but I can PM one of the main guys if I get an issue too.

I think there's a "Covenant" class added in this mod but it has a placeholder shipset that should only break if the base models are broken by another mod :p

Out of curiousity have you gotten the ships from his main assests working as I don't seem to have the crusiers working I have managed to pull the mod into a mod pack I have for my friends exclusively but the cruisers themselves just don't show and I am unsure which texture they are if you find anything out would appreciate if you could lemme know! thanks for working on this though

You may be interested to hear I'm republishing this without the original mod requirement (most of his resources were edited from Google anyway), I'm just trying to make it compatible with other mods (especially Sins of the Prophets) and actually worth downloading.

I'll post a link and update this mod pointing to it when done.

hmmmm anyway to get the unsc too? or at least the outfits, dunno, because right now i can't use the old mod's outfits (i really love the one with the shoulder "blade" armor) i can't put traits on my specie because of it

I didn't touch the civics, just labelled these species as 'Biological'. I will be on the look out in my own game for similar!

Hey there. Been using the mod to play a Sangheili only empire. Everything is working as intended and thank you for the work! I found one bug so far. In one of my games there was a generation of a Jiralhanae empire that had the civic trait Machine Intelligence- Rogue Servitor. The species of Jiralhanae had the Machine trait and a biological species trait (Agarian I think). What ended up happening was the empire never developed anything on their planet or expanded because I am guessing the AI literally broke with the incompatable species civics. The empire did not have robots either.

Huh, so, it seems to be the Covenant Species mod causing crashes on selecting ships or cities. I have *no* idea why that would be, but I'm going to try adding a fix to this mod.

Heya, I noticed that with selecting ship appearance or clicking on the room in the Species overview causes a CTD, this might be as of Update 2.0, but I'm unsure, no other ship altering mods were used.

Well, I mean the important part of updating, like the file compatibility phase.
The ships on both work.

The portraits of Sins' are not updated though, at least for now.
