Annyone got an issue launching Coop with this mod after the new DLC ? Coz me and a friend cant launch coop with it.. Solo campaing works fine for some reason... and we did a full reinstal/redownload, anny idea ?

I suggest folks find other mods to use, or take up learning to create/edit mods themselves. Sebidee has great mods but this has happened before. Sebidee stops updating, various people upload updated versions. Months later, Sebidee comes back, complains about stolen mods. Then Sebidee stops updating again. Real life takes priority, but I'd maybe stop going after the people who pick up the slack if I couldn't update my mods more than once a year.

I would advise anyone who regularly plays with this mod to try disabling it and instead adding a mod that makes siege engines build faster. Luckyspade's is what I use. Actually building some towers and advancing on the walls using them as cover. Throw in trebor's garrison overhaul and they're actually pretty damn fun.

@Sebidee's we appreciate your mods but u really should maintain stuff better if u are going to make it avail to community (other mod makers do , even huge overhaul mods) and this mod is a few txt file edits)

Much as I appreciate Sebidee work , he doesn't maintain them very well
use this mod if u want, a current working updated version
(even thou just because something out of date don't mean u can't use it, (tick the options to use outdated mods, not that hard)

sieges ate the worst thing about WH 2 so resolve when u can.
(compared to previous TW games they suck)

I don't get the complaining about people asking for updates. It's not a good sign to see a mod go without an update for so long. Especially when it takes no effort to do so if all that needs to be changed is the header or w/e. So use this one at your own risk... when an update comes that does break it don't expect a swift update, if you even get one at all.

in vanilla, the towers had too large a radius and interfered with a normal attack with artillery, but! Now the radius is smaller and everything would be fine, as in real life, a siege with catapults against the walls is always an advantage, but! The artillery has too many charges in the game, this makes it possible to shoot everything and everything without being approached by melee fighters, and with such a radius of view the towers are generally quite simple! Therefore, I propose to leave the standard radius of the towers and divide it into three levels, the distance radius is small damage, medium-medium, close (near the walls) is the largest!

How is this not in the default game? Siege battles used to be fun for me in TW games but the maps here are so cramped I end up just auto resolving 95% of them.

Excellent mod, would greatly appreciate an update. I've been using this one for a while and playing sieges without it gives me too many D-Day flashbacks.

For some reason me and my friend cannot play multiplayer together when using this exact mod. I have no other mods enabled that should conflict with reduced tower range. And we have the same mods active.

Thanks Altan, yeah I thought the vanilla towers just forced you to rush the walls in every siege. Really cut down on strategy.

I always felt towers having longer range than most artillery didn't make much sense.
