@Dead Rabbid Actually, if you look closely at those throwers, the bolts they use are fairly small in length, about arrow length, but they are much thicker than regular arrows.
i asked him in the comments of his mod, he made the archer body invisible except of the quiver in order to give the sea guard the high elve quiver.
I do not know if this should be but the soldiers serving the "ballist claw eagle" also have quivers on their backs although they have no bows.
But they don't pull the arrow from their hip, it's from their back.
And the only hip quiver available for this game is the beastmen quiver, which does not look right at all for the High Elves. And it seems there is some problems with retexturing those quivers as I have tried to add them to Bretonnian archers with a new texture, but it does not work as it should. Something to do with it using wsmodel and material files.
