After spending 3 days trying to kill it, the corpse just disappeared.

I am unable to even strike the Land Striders
NinjaBeest 11 jan 2022 om 21:52
Just made a patch for this mod to allow the titan creatures to be recruitable via the "TameBeasties" mod.

I was beaten down by black dragon ninjas, they stole my base and killed one of my 7 men, that wasn't painful though, so this? is perfect. :beeped:

Who ever plays kenshi, sooner ot later, findes him or herlesf in between a filosofical breakthrough when realising they are masochistic genosideal terrorists that don´t discriminate between what to enslave, kill, mutilate, steal from, or simply a coombination of all the above.

Good thing, prevents us from doing any of dose unspeakable things in real life, thanks kenshi, you goregoes gore fuckfest
Vitriol ☧ 6 mei 2020 om 13:17
just to be clear,"Basically it takes the giant super boss creatures in the game", so these bosses are already in the game? i never heard of them
Nashing 12 feb 2020 om 3:08
i killed landstrider no drops, seen mega blood spider in swamp had no ranged people so couldnt attack it, killed leviathan robot had good drops. Landstrider took forever was pretty disappointed it didnt drop anything. ( over 60k HP )
Nashing 12 feb 2020 om 1:59
some drop stuff others dont lot of work to kill. some really only canbe hit with ranged weapons...
Owlguy 13 jan 2020 om 22:37
i suppose flat and open areas are a lil few and far between in kenshi. it'd still be weird seeing a crab in the desert though.
Squamousness  [auteur] 13 jan 2020 om 19:38
They mostly spawn in the desert and swamps but I can change it around probably
Owlguy 12 jan 2020 om 20:53
So do these spawn literally anywhere or do they spawn in semi lore friendly locations? cause i want giant monsters but i wanna know i'm not gonna find giant crabs on inland mountains.
Juroguy Johnson 11 mrt 2019 om 2:38
Thanks,
Squamousness  [auteur] 11 mrt 2019 om 2:37
They're wandering spawns so they'll keep showing up, they just have a low chance of doing so. I'll look into it though.
Juroguy Johnson 11 mrt 2019 om 2:35
im finding megacrabs and mega raptors, but they don't seem to respawn, i assume thats from this mod.

Otherwise, in terms of literal, actual leviathans. i have yet to see any.

Thanks for the Response, i was just wondering.
Squamousness  [auteur] 10 mrt 2019 om 11:04
Huh. Leviathans might only spawn in the great desert, I'll have to check. Either way I gave them a pretty low spawn setting so seeing one even if they are supposed to be there is pretty rare.
Juroguy Johnson 10 mrt 2019 om 4:53
I've been using this mod, and, after importing, ive been in the swmp for several hours now and have yet to see any leviathans.

Is it only the barren southern swamp that they spawn in. Not seeing a single one is somewhat confusing. All i get is raptors eating my crops and blood spiders executing civilians, but not a single Leviathan.
Squamousness  [auteur] 9 mrt 2019 om 12:14
It should work, yeah. Its a very small mod, very little risk of incompatibility
Juroguy Johnson 9 mrt 2019 om 11:42
Does this still work, i would just like to know, i intend on setting up camp in the swamp near the hub, and all i ever see is the occasional turtle and a river raptor in the distance, so i'd like to get the mod.
Squamousness  [auteur] 13 jan 2019 om 19:40
Ah no, that's not me then.
Kaiser Waffle 12 jan 2019 om 16:26
I was just wondering because the town i'm in is actually swarming with them killing half the guards thought it was this mod.
Squamousness  [auteur] 11 jan 2019 om 21:40
No but I can add that when I have some free time
Kaiser Waffle 11 jan 2019 om 20:51
Is the Skimmer Alpha a part of this mod ?
Squamousness  [auteur] 20 dec 2018 om 21:44
I'd give it a solid probably. Shouldn't be anything in here that would be affected by the updates, its a really really simple mod.
Fatuous Lord 20 dec 2018 om 20:49
Does it still work?
Squamousness  [auteur] 25 nov 2018 om 8:02
It really isn't hard. I'd probably rank it one of the easiest to learn modding tools I've ever seen. Figured out the whole system without any tutorial.
BlackWaterAquifer 24 nov 2018 om 19:40
Squamousness, i am professional noob. i wish i had the know how on modding this game. i would try it out in a heartbeat.
Squamousness  [auteur] 24 nov 2018 om 14:22
Sort of but it should still work. Might overhaul it later but I've been busy with real life. It really wasn't too hard though, took literally 15 minutes. You could probably make your own better version and I wouldn't hold it against you.
BlackWaterAquifer 23 nov 2018 om 16:40
is this a dead mod?
Squamousness  [auteur] 29 mei 2018 om 13:03
I will but there isn't much of a point to it at the moment since there are no new areas to put them in or big creatures to add. I probably will when the map is expanded.
Avata 28 mei 2018 om 19:19
you will update this mod ?
Squamousness  [auteur] 29 mrt 2018 om 18:57
I think so yeah. Its not the sort of thing that would be affected by the most recent updates probably.
TallestDavid 28 mrt 2018 om 15:30
works with current update?
Hawk 27 jan 2018 om 14:49
I like the idea, Just hoping the spawn rate is not ridiculous.
Squamousness  [auteur] 14 okt 2017 om 10:29
@Stefanau it adds boss creatures that are scaled up versions of normal animals and makes them random spawns. The original boss creatures can be found hidden throughout the map.

Cryptokang 12 okt 2017 om 8:47
Are these bigger than the leviathans or are they the same beasts?
Billy 11 okt 2017 om 11:29
I think anyone who played the game for more than an hour is a serious masochist. It's what makes this community so strong we all have something in common. :D
Totally not furry 11 okt 2017 om 10:35
wip me master!
Doug 11 okt 2017 om 9:51
Gringo, you need to go past the floodlands and holy nation territory. just head to the northwest corner of the map, most of that coastline should contain them.
Mr.Wanaskiwin "Navarone" 10 okt 2017 om 15:32
imma try this later xD
LuddWillsIt 10 okt 2017 om 12:35
@Squamusness Ah fair play, altough the wiki for this game seems to be near empty everytime I've decided to check it for anything so never bothered with this one

I'll check it out
Squamousness  [auteur] 10 okt 2017 om 11:53
I don't want to spoil anything here, but you could probably find out by checking the wiki.
LuddWillsIt 10 okt 2017 om 11:47
Where do you encounter them in the base game? I've played 100hrs of Kenshi since it was released on Steam which is a fair amount but never actually encountered them
Squamousness  [auteur] 8 okt 2017 om 18:15
Thanks, and fair enough. It can definitely up the difficulty level to an unreasonable extent.
isi 8 okt 2017 om 18:03
i won't get this ... but ... LOL , very funny and well done =)
Radd 8 okt 2017 om 3:20
Take this fookin L Op.
Igams 6 okt 2017 om 17:39
"If you haven't guessed by now, you probably shouldn't install this unless you are very masochistic."
That's the Kenshi fanbase in a nutshell my friend. Neat mod though I'll give it a shot.
Tadwei 5 okt 2017 om 22:45
Installed. Will test on stream...
