I agree. I loved being able to summon Salamanders! Definitive Edition is the free upgrade to the game that the devs released to everyone, including an overhauled act 3 and new character to follow you along.

DE is Definitive Edition :) its basically the upgraded variant of the game :) ^^ the new enhanced version of it

never heard of that one, maybe it changes something i changed...?
which i dont think should be a common thing since i used my modding-tag on every single item i added in the game, so even if someone added the same summons it shouldnt cause problems

makes me really unsure now

Hi. I haven't played divinity for a longer time but now I wanted to play a bit. The Problem is, that as soon as I talk to a trader of the summoner skill books (or as soon as I pick a book up) the game crashes.
That's wierd because I played with this mod in the past without any problems.
Do you know this problem?

wonder if that was a patch which scaled the originals down, within the last few weeks since you 2 are the first ones talking about that i think

back then i scaled them all exactly like the original summons... :/
but sorry for that, didnt work on this for so long now, i wouldnt even know anymore what to do here

if it was just a tiny patch, it would be a way different point, i could quickly check and do
but this means i would have to overhaul my whole mod, that would take days with all the testing

Love this mod, the variety it adds to the game is 2nd to none but like some of the posts below the scalling on them is rather OP

@Fordola: I really like the mod, so not trying to insult it or anything, but I was playing with a friend, and by around lvl 4, he had both source hound summons and the big blue wolf thing, and they were consistently hitting for 2-3x the damage of any of the acutual party members. We were playing on Tactician, so it was pretty obvious just how powerful they were.

Granted, we also had the 8maxAP/3 summon limit mod activated, and my friend was using the glass cannon talent, but even that aside, the stats of the summons seems to grow a bit too high, too fast is all. I'm sure a lot of players will be fine with it, since the mod does add a lot of flavour to the game.

The summons look neat, and I can tell you put a lot of work into the mod, but everything seems incredibly overtuned, to the point where it completely trivialives gameplay. At lvl 4, with most of my points spent in Summoning, I can basically solo fights with just my summoner. The rest of my party members are just decoration. All in all, cool idea, but needs a serious balance pass

I am totally looking forward to using this alongsie Helane's buff all summons mod and some of the other mods I've come across when I finally start a new and wonderful playthru. Your mod will let me get back my trusty Spider summon pet from Original Sin1 which i used on my melee battlemage constantly lol.
Thanks for this mod and can't wait to try it out.

if its only the buff doing that, then dont buff the summons you dont want buffed xD
its all just about having more freedom anyway, not necessarily useful on every single summon of course

It was a cool idea in theory, but the helane- buff all summons seems to replace their auto attacks with incarnate style auto attacks, but it is cool seeing a fire automaton throw a geo spell and then lazer it.

I mean Bone Widow has a teleport so I thought it would be fitting was all. Plus, it'd make it be able to reposition and would make up for it's low hp to a degree. Up to you though.

gave him "Pin down", i checked through quite a few skills, most of them require source, and those should be mainly just for the player, otherwise it would be overpowered early game, also, no retreat because having a teleporting summon might be too much? especially for a fragile skeleton
it has to help, but its not supposed to be there to overpower the whole fight :D

I love the selection here, but I would really enjoy a Skeletal archer in this mod. I've found a few others that have them, but they have requirements such as needing a dead body or a specific amount of body parts ect.

I'm actually trying to learn modding myself, i want to start with making some cutom summons for a Demonologist class, but the guides i found for making skills do not explain changing the visuals and stuff on spells. Could you point me at a guide, or maybe drop me a PM with some tips?

It's alright, I had a manual save where I still had the mod installed, and was able to load back to that one.It wasn't that the vendor was missing items she just wasn't on the lady vengence at all.

Do you think you could make a modified version of terify for the Dragons to use? The cooldown you put on it also affected Summoner Inner Demon, which was one of my favorite source skills.

oh? must be an issue with the "allignment" of the enemy, probably set as enemy, may be picked up as hostile by other groups in that case, i will have to look into that

but infused huh? never thought of that, but since the infused totems/summons all had their own different stats, it may be a LOT of work xD and honestly im just waaaay too lazy for that

@Faris - Loving the mod! Not a huge summoner, but I do like using the cat to scout for me hah
Idk if the enemies just didn't see it, or they don't register it as an enemy. But either way, it's a pretty fun way to scout out a new area with enemies.
I was also curious about if it would be possible to make them able to be infused? I'm not a mod maker, so I have literally no clue on how easy/difficult that would be to adjust.

Until someone was able to make the Dire Wolf look like a lion/tiger, I'm going to be using it as an infused "cat" hahha
