Yeah, playing in local mode can take longer than connecting to an online server because your computer is not as powerful as a server, iirc.

I played online and as a local server, and the only thing I can tell you is that, in local mode, the server takes a long time to reload the next campaign...

Otherwise everything is fine, I didn't feel any problems...
