@Borillir I am sorry, my friend, but such is the nature of mods and modded games. You can try loading a save that is missing a mod, and if everything works and the game loads, you may yet able to continue the game, albeit with some wonkyness due to the mod's absence.

Not all "mod missing" games are broken, and some can be played (until they crash).

@Mirzor, Thank you for your response. So there is nothing I can do in the meantime? I spent alot of time on that particular game and I would hate not to be able to finish.

@Borillir this must be happening because of the Tomb Kings Extended mod being taken down.
!!!TKE_Comp_spartanvi_WH2building_icons_doom_compilation seems to be a submod that provides a compatch to Progressive Building Icons and TKE.

I can play still, because for some reason I have the TKE mod files in Kaedrins Mod Manager, but not the submod. It gives me two lines of Military Buildings in Tomb Kings factions, the other being named "THERE IS A MOD CONFLICT".

Seems to me that we have to await the submod to be reuploaded.

!!!TKE_Comp_spartanvi_WH2building_icons_doom_compilation is not my mod. Try searching the workshop for it.

I am playing TW2 and when I tried to load my saved game, I was unable to due to a missing mod file. The missing mod is:
!!!TKE_Comp_spartanvi_WH2building_icons_doom_compilation.
I am on turn 142 and have not added or removed any mods, nor have I changed any settings or load order. I stopped the game one day and then opened the game the next day. What do I do?

Any idea why this has disappeared out of my mod list despite being subscribed and re-subbing? It's just not showing up which has unfortunately killed every single one of my saves!

Ahhh, since most of the art is a derivative of the artwork owned by Creative Assembly, I can't grant permission to use this mod's assets outside of the TW:Warhammer games.

If it's for personal use, then you may merge the mods. If you plan on uploading it to the Workshop, please only integrate this mod if there would be a conflict (e.g. your other mod overwrites/modifies the building_culture_variants_tables). Thanks

Only to resolve a mod conflict, otherwise it will just introduce conflicts where there wouldn't have been one. If you keep it private, then you can do whatever you like of course.

@Nixon, I couldn't replicate that issue, so it is not this mod causing it. Basically your game has the Binding Circle in a different building category that doesn't have building category art, so it defaults to a white square. This mod doesn't touch building categories at all, just the icons o the buildings, so you'll have to do some deduction to isolate which mod causes that.

hello,
i have subscribed but i don't see any difference with the icons in game. I'm playing the Vortex campaign with tyron. Is it normal ? The option is activated in the Launcher though :/

Yeah it looks like they changed the skaven_resource_pastures icon at some point from an icon of some weeds to an icon of raw meat. I'll get around to it some day, my priority right now is to complete the WH3 version of this mod.

Not sure if anyone's noticed and mentioned or not but you did miss an icon for the Skaven. Specifically the farm land icon for them is different from the other resource icons for the other factions. Not a big issue or anything but figured you'd want to know

Pervy, yep that mod also makes changes to the "building_culture_variants_tables." Something like this would be a solid case for an exception to #6 in my FAQ. The author already has a submod for compatibility with Building Progression Icons: Try downloading the "Tomb Kings: Extended - Building Progression Icons II Compatibility" submod and see what happens.

Currently not. We do a unique UI design for each race. New art for occupying/raze etc.and new 2D Portholes. Was thinking about also covering building icons and faction colored unit cards so the entirety of the UI is covered in a All in One package. @Dozer, yep WH3 work is already underway. We don't have Workshop functionality yet, but I'll probably have something ready for release when the Workshop and Mod Managers are finally supported.
@Pippin, I'm only planning on the Building Icons mod at the moment. Between work and family obligations, there's very little time for anything else.

Any chance you could perhaps extend your phenomenal art skills to improve the various art used in TWW 3 (stuff like raze/occupy/loot settlement)?

It would also be an incredible feat if we could have a UI color that is less RED and more like what it was in TWW 2.

Just almost finished playing a Vortex Repanse campaign and just noticed a weird issue where most of the resource building icons (Pottery, gold, salt etc) have the default icon without progression. All other building icons seem fine as do, for some reason, Gems & Spice.

The port building once taken over buy beastmen still displays an upgrade icon when as beastmen it won't upgrade many thanks
