Is it possible to run this mod with SV_Cheats activated and multiplayer?

limit common 500, jesus christ, are you trying to toast the subscribers?
My pc sometimes lags with only 150, can't imagine 500.

It's not possible for me to optimize the mod without altering it's gameplay. That's up to VALVe and the way they designed the AI.

It doesn't really take up that much CPU anyway. I have an i5 Quad Core that isn't overclocked and the most it's gone down is 10 FPS. If you have an i7 Quad Core overclocked it would do a lot better.

@below You can edit the console command "z_common_limit" to change it to your liking by entering a map using the console and enabling cheats.

Played this all the way up to the Dead Center finale, as I hunker down in a corner swinging an axe my game crashes for a third time. Cool mod. I just don't think it's humanly possible w/out at leat 2 players

v Honestly, if you take the game slowly you most likely won't crash. If you run outside where hundreds of spawn and then to another area will hundreds of them spawn, then its your fault that you crashed, lol. If I lower the values then it won't be as fun, and just make it seem as an extra version of default.

dude, I think this might be a cool mod. But you gotta make it so it spawns reasonable, realistic amount of zombies, otherwise it would just crashes people's games

@VOKZEL - Not all good I understand. Nothing more said for the doubts that it does not regenerate a tank or witch while you advance or even a tank in the final event. That was no more.

@Maur0 If you don't wany bosses to spawn, while in the main menu open console and type "map (mapnamehere) neverendnospecials" (or simply "neverend" if you want specials). Now, when you are in type "sv_cheats 1" into console, and that will let you put in the command to disable bosses.

I really don't want to make a 3rd version of this as its a hassle to keep track and update both. Unless an extremely valid reason pops up, I wouldn't do it.

can you make a survival version? when i play on survival i usally have to wait for zombies cause in some maps i beat them all befor the next respawn. xD

Not bad I like, so you have to have a good pc to play it. And another thing you should put the command "director_no_bosses 1" in case you do not respawn a tank or witch. And give some disadvantage to the tank in case of the end event as it may reappear and can be a problem.
