Hey! I've used your mod for a long time, but since I started playing with some friends they wanted to original Frackin Universe solar panels, so I took it on myself to make a standalone version of your mod that makes your reskins actual items seperate from the normal Frackin panels, working the exact same as the normal panels. I was going to upload it to the Workshop, but wanted your permission first. Mind if I do?

i would like to use this as a decor, but you said that you wouldent be working on mods anymore, so thats not the case, These are really good solar panels and i would like to use them my self.

Anyhow i think you should allow another modder to just put this as decor like Avali+ or an avali decor mod.
Not makeing them have any stats whatsoever other than lights or the solar panels them selfs being able to be turned on or off.

im just throwing ideas out for anyone if they wanna make their own or if you wanna continue again.

Everyone asking for standalone: It doesn't make sense as a stand alone (without FU) mod as these items are just a reskin of objects from FU.

As far as having it as an alternative object and not a replacement for the existing one, that's not as easy as it may seem. The Frackin' devs are really good at balancing power generation and consumption as that is a good part of the challenge/mechanics of that mod, so if I were to release these as seperate items then I would need to release an update every time they do, to ensure I'm keeping the power generation at the same levels as the stock FU ones.

I don't really keep up with Starbound modding anymore, so having them as a reskin is the only option for me. As it's just a simple image change, you can freely enable/disable this mod without any effect on your save file, so I'd suggest only enabling this mod when you want it.

I frackin hate FU. best part is I didnt want it, and they make it so if you dont want it, they keep your files.

I agree for the stand alone version. That way you can have matching machines for both avali and the massive collection of other rraces out there.

Avali or not, these panels look cool. If anything I can imagine they're like.. gold plated and stuff ^-^

This should really be a seperate item, and not just overhual it's design.

I'll consider making it a seperate object, but it does get more complicated, FU has recently re-balanced their power generators, so I'd have to maintain the mod to ensure it keeps balance with the original items, it just becomes a whole different kind of project than I set out to do, but I'll look into ways of piggy backing off the settings for the default one

Also the author cant help you having a vendetta... the Avali are popular because they are well developed, colorfull, and are genuinely unique compared to most custom races, of course there will be an abundance of modders wanting to expand their content :P

personally i like seeing more stuff tailored to fit the Avali, wish there was a conversion for standard clothes so they had more to wear, lol

Cool, but consider the following: Even more Avali content to play with. This is not a bad thing. Not as much milking as expanding upon it, adding stuff taht's nice to have for that true fluffy space raptor experience.
