sorry its not possible since i only edited a image file and there is no space or icon to make to see whether a marine got exo/dual exo, jetpack or none. but i understand your point and it would have been a thing i would probably have done but for me it seems that its not working since the update (240). the basemode contains only edited .dds image files

Ok it feels better now. Would it be possible to make different icons on the minimap for exo/dual exo/jetpack marine/marine Like in minimap coloured players?(dont care about the color!) The reason im asking is the minimap icons in that mod are awsome but the RT and base icons in this mod are awsome too. Since they wont work together it would be godlike if you could combine them! (I cant figure out how to do it..)

hm i like the original colours :/ thats why i didnt changed it but i can make the colours brighter but i dont like red and green... but if you really want to have green and red download gimp and install the dds plugin: http://code.google.com/p/gimp-dds/ in gimp you just slect the items you want to colourise (hold shift to add something to your selection) then go to colour>colourise
but ill make the colours brighter

the thing is minimap coloured players change the colour of the marines and kharr on the big minimap to green and red. Your base mod keep the original colours but add colour to where you can place bases and RT's. Its all managed in the same dds file. I tried to add colour to the bases and RT's myself by editing the dds files but it didn't work that well. Hence what i was asking was basically if you can make marines green and aliens red on the map?

that's more than weird :/ i splitted the mod because i didnt want the mods deactivating the whole mod and thought more small mods are better. i think UWE should fix this because they promised a highly moddable game which it is but if one mod breaks another its just bullshit :/ but my knowledge isn't good enough to know why it disables the other mod. except youre running a mod which already modified things my mods do. sry but by splitting my mod i already tried everything i could imagine to make it work :/

How would i integrate this with "minimap coloured players" mod? As it stands, activating one disables the other.

so i split this mod in 3 parts i hope this will be the solution. i think its not to hard to click on the links in the description and subscribe the 2 other mods as well they are way smaller than this

I'm new to the game so maybe I'm missing something obvious. There is an error in the console: "mod failed consistency checking and will be disabled" (lua/menu/serverlist.lua failed. Some of the mod stuff does work like the filter search bar is there. But ingame map looks the same as default

is it just not working or do you get any errors in the console? read what i wrote to Mikami
you can try to load it manually in you game library rightclick on ns2 -> properties -> set launch options -> '-game "%appdata%\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\Workshop\m7031f99_1357224918" -hotload' until i find a better solution

hm weird for me it worked neither since i joined a modded server im running it via hotload but ill search for a proper solution

its not working for me. can't figure out why. I deleted the workshop folder and ressubbed and enabled under mods

i'll definetly adapt some changes from the better serverlist but making it all new because i like it but there are some changes in it i dont like as much and i would combine the map and mode search in 1 text entry field with server name too. also i want to filter all servers but rookie friendly

thanks! yeah thats why i changed it. i also had problems finding them and my teammates as alien... so i decides to make this mod and publish it so everyone could profit of it
