Yeah for sure it's not super realistic, we were following a generalized idea based on a number of reference images we'd pulled. some were anodized, some were small parts made of titanium that had been heat treated. We ended up settlign on this color scheme because it mirrored the most common gradients we could find that had this sort of "end effect" and went for what looked the best across the most weapons. We actually initially tried to do this same effect in anodized multicolored, but unfortunately we couldn't quite get the amount of rich gradients, and it also limited the parts of the guns we could apply it to. Nice to see someone who knows their stuff, but I think it might be a bit late in the game to re-name them all now. D:

I just read your reaponse to CZ handgun. No mate, trust me, it is titanium anodizing. Greenish gradient will not occur if use proper voltage, only those colors that you have in this skin. Green color is the last stage, right before the finish turns grey, very easy to avoid. I've done anodizing on knives, i know what I'm talking about.

Heat treating now is mostly commonly used for manual application to make some particular patterns, and it's used predominantly on the titanium metal, because of its properties. On weapons, you will not achieve such bright colors because of steel metal. That's why titanium coating with subsequent anodizing is used.

Great job anyways!
