@videojames yes it's possible, but the arc for towers is universal, what you are proposing are individual edits to each race's tower weapons. That's quite beyond the scope of this mod. Feel free to create that, as I don't think anyone else has and it's a good idea!

Thank you for the mod! I've noticed that the WH1 races towers do a lot less damage than the WH2 races in vanilla. Would it be possible to even out the damage for all the races or change it?

I meant it as more like if the towers are garrisoned by archers or something, they could fire down onto the walls or at any troops trying to rush past the walls. Like I said, weird question, just wondering

In Medieval 2 total war towers didn't shoot into the city. and btw who would ever build a tower that way that the it would be able to shoot inside? not even skaven would be so stupid.

Yes its possible to do 380, but then the towers shoot themselves and the wall. It gets messy when you go beyond around 150`+

Weird question. Is it possible to make walls towers have a 360 degree firing arc? Or close to it, basically so a tower could fire into the base if captured? (A la Medieval total war 2) Otherwise liked and favorited!

Yeah, but that edit will conflict with a horde of mods. In my experience, I am usually able to destroy 1 siege tower per artillery unit. Certainly 2 artillery should destroy one tower.

Are you able to make a mod that decreases the HP of Siegetowers. I am finding that eventhough i focus fire from 2-3 walltowers on a single siegetower it can only manage to bring the damage down to about 33-50%. Effectively making it impossible to destroy siegetowers

Yep, agreed. There's also got to be some limits for balancing reasons. :)

I can't use both mods together because, if memory serves me right, both values are in the same row. Hmm, the more I think about it the more it feels like this is under a siege table though... I'll check it out later and let you know. :)

Exactly, towers shoot out of all 4 sides... But the problem with that is if the arc is too big, the towers will hit your other towers and walls while they attempt to shoot enemies that are on or inside of the walls. 180` to 360` towers causes freindly fire.

Well, feel free to use this mod as you see fit. If you want to combine it, change it, I'm fine with it. I think it would work fine, right Fequois, if you used this with another mod that changes range like yours? I'll have to test. But if you want both mods in one, well, just merge them in PFM. Are you running out of mod slots?

Sweet! I like the idea is this one, since it doesn't really make much sense that you wouldn't be able to fire on a wider arc from a tower!

I've got a mod that reduces the firing range of towers (which, let's admit it, has for the time being devolved into just another version of Sebidee's). Like The Malachite Stalagmite suggested below-basically combining these two mods-sounds like something I'd personally like.

Let me know if it want to do it, otherwise I'll update mine if you're alright with it. :)

Can you make a version that combines this with shortening tower range? Something on the order of 200-340. I like the dynamic of being able to knock out towers from extreme range with cannons, but them being brutally effective if you have to wade through the fire.
