I might be wrong, but the EXPS is the sight that's suppose to be used with the magnifier. The XPS has the buttons on the rear facing the person and since theres a magnifier, you can't turn the eotech on. The EXPS also sits higher about a quarter inch to properly align with the magnifier and front sight.
