8 years in development hell
I hope that one day we will see this one released in a finished state

T options are very limited. Left path you're fighting long range headshot angles while having 270 degrees of angles if you try to run out into no mans land, not to mention the height difference. Right path is slightly better but very long range and you're again fighting 270 degrees of angles if you try to push.

Good to hear that you're still commited to finishing the map, even with the apartment trouble.
I hope i will be able to playtest the map later then. Have a good one, keep me updated if you can :D

Hello ! Thanks for your interest in the map :) I really want to finish this map and I worked hard end of last year to give it a real push.

For now it would be a shame to not release it but I moved a few months ago in Canada and I still don't have a new computer to work on it because I'm actually changing apartment very often. Will be in a stable one in 2 weeks and I hope I will be able to continue from this time.

Cheers !

I gave your map a thumb up, because people should ackknowledge this work and that we can play it.
Such a thumb doesn't hurt, but honor your work.

This is my THANKS to the mapper.

ok this map has the potential to be one the best maps in long time, i special like the use of elevation of terrain and the feeling of Scotchies town. Keep it up.

I got back from a vacation in Scottland recently, a lot of these referenced locations I'm very familiar with. Glasgow and Edinborough are tight locations to make a map off of. Love this one alot.

Wow! This looks so cool and the layout is so ingenious and unique - how could you guys even consider discontinuing this map?? :steammocking:
Really nice to know that it will be finished! :steamhappy:

How tf did you make a map where a bombsite is way back behind another bombsite viable?

You are mapmaking wizards

About the comment below, the problem with the T spawn was actually from a coop mission I started before that changed my config, nothing to do with the map, sorry about that.
I wish I had more to say about it, but without anyone to playtest it, it's hard to properly analyze it.

Beautiful and interesting map, man. I just spent 40min analyzing it, especially the timings, and came up with a nice CT setup. It has an interesting play style, I love to see maps that innovate on that.

I know it's a work in progress, but here comes a few suggestions and observations:
- There's a porch at the beginning of the street from CT, near a phone booth, where the clipping is like the spiral staircase in Dust 2, maybe you should use a ramp instead;
- For some reason I can't spawn as T.

Well, I love your maps, man, thanks for sharing them with the community. Also, if you need someone to playtest, I'm at your service, I get bored everyday with playing the same maps and I sincerely crave for new stuff in the official map pool, but the community seems to resist this kind of changes. So everyone keeps playing the stuff where they know everything, instead of being open to new maps and to learn how to play them.

Regards!

I like the map so far and I hope it turns out to be one of the more popular custom maps. Also, I was wondering if you guys could give me any map making tips so I can make better maps in the future.
