Just want to let you all know that I have now uploaded the first version of this mod recreated for Warhammer 3 from the ground up with much better quivers and additions. I have retitled the project to "Details Matter" for better searchability so you can find all the different parts of the project by just typing that into the search tab.

There are stand alone versions and a collection with all included.

Just want to announce that this mod will be ported over / remade for Warhammer 3 when the new IE campaign comes out. Some exciting new tools make quiver creation much easier and results in much better fit for certain unit models. And the new quiver assets I will make will also make it much easier to be used as resources for other mods.

@Richard Mc Soc Yeah I will probably port this over to Warhammer 3 eventually. But that won't happen until Immortal Empires comes out, so sometime in August I guess. It will just make testing easier and honestly, I don't really have any interest in the current game as it is now.
Richard Mc Soc 13. juli 2022 kl. 10:28
will there be a warhammer 3 version?

@Ric119 I am away for the weekend, so I will update it in the coming week. But it should still work fine even without the update. Works perfectly fine with resize mods as I have made a resize mod I use myself. I am not sure what banners mods you referring to, if it is floating banners then it should work fine. It won't work with mods that alter the units variant model files, so reskins that alter the look of the same archer unit models won't work together.
Ric119 20. mar. 2021 kl. 7:09
Will this be updated?
Ric119 24. feb. 2021 kl. 5:45
Does it work with other mods that alter units in a different way? Like the unit resize mod or the banners mod?

It's weird... But your doing a great job @merwanor. Why so many game designers overlook giving archers quivers just baffles me..
Merwanor  [ophavsmand] 30. dec. 2019 kl. 14:05
Well I have not altered those units so that is CAs own unit design.

Sisters of Avelorn dont use quivers. their arrows are like magic missiles...

If I knew how to change the models in that way I would do a lot more than I do now, but sadly I am not sure how or if it is even possible.
Dr. Oz The Great And Powerful 19. sep. 2019 kl. 12:20
Could you switch the quiver location for Sisters of Averlorn from their backs to their hips? As that's where they actually draw from in their animation.

Thanks for your great effort to fix it and the update!

When I first saw the announcement that they where giving Empire archer units, I thought to myself that they would mess up the bows on the Bretonnian units. And of course that is what happened. CA just seems incapable of actually making something specifically for a unit. They always go the copy paste route without realizing they will mess up other units.

The problem is how their animations work as it seems like the weapons used in an animation is not drawn from the variantmodel for the unit but rather a specific weapon.

There is a similar issue with Wood Elf Waystalkers where their bows swap to a High Elf bow and the Glade Lord when he is on a mount his bow swaps to either a High Elf bow or a different Wood Elf bow.

i apologize because this has nothing to do with the mod but CA did it again, back then it was the lothern sea guard and now the bretonnian archers switch the bow model when they start their archery animations to the model of the empire archers. I hope CA will fix this faster than they did the last time. :(

as far as the mod goes i want to thank you very much for the update, i did not find a bug so far and i really like the look of the empire quiver at the bretonnian models, and on the empire archers. :)

Mod should now be updated. Let me know if you come across any bugs with it.
Merwanor  [ophavsmand] 14. sep. 2019 kl. 4:48
I have uploaded the new Quivers for The Empire mod and added an alternate version for Bretonnia. But for some reason I can't update my old mods in the launcher only the new ones. I will let you all know when this is fixed.

Great news merwanor! Looking forward to it. Thx!
Merwanor  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2019 kl. 12:48
Updates are coming, Hopefully tomorrow or Saturday. I am working on adding quivers to regular Empire Archers and looking into improving the Bretonnian quivers to use assets from the new Empire quivers.

update please~thanks
Arideer 8. sep. 2019 kl. 16:00
you ever think about another mod that adds proper sheathed weapons since thats another thing thats inconsistant with archers
Frederick 12. jan. 2019 kl. 10:48
Okay, no worries. I thought I was just missing/not seeing the quivers on the Welfs. Thanks for the quick response.
Merwanor  [ophavsmand] 12. jan. 2019 kl. 3:13
Well quivers for Brettonia is included in this mod which is a WH1 faction. When it comes to Wood Elves, they all have quivers already, unless some new units have been added that I am not aware off. Unfortunatly I have tried to make quivers for Greenskins but I have not found any way to do it as the orc models seem to not work with any quiver models already in the game.
Frederick 11. jan. 2019 kl. 17:30
Oh, sorry, just saw your reply. There was a mod previously that was quivers for the WH1 factions. I'm just curious if there's a way to apply that mod to WH2? Has it been ported? I'm maybe just not noticing. I guess the only factions that would need quivers that aren't included in this mod would be only be welfs or greenskins, maybe I'm just not noticing that those units already have quivers.
Merwanor  [ophavsmand] 15. nov. 2018 kl. 6:16
Are you trying to create new units or do you want to add quivers to already established units? Could you please be a bit more specific?
Frederick 14. nov. 2018 kl. 17:19
Question for Author, How can we apply your quivers for WH1 factions into the game?
Merwanor  [ophavsmand] 8. nov. 2018 kl. 10:02
While the Steam Workshop page does not seem to reflect it, I have re-uploaded the mod for the Vampire Coast DLC. And some great news about the recent patch is that it has finally fixed the issues with High Elf bows changing to Wood Elf bows when firing on some units.
Merwanor  [ophavsmand] 31. maj 2018 kl. 15:22
Ok the problem was not that hard to fix so I have now updated the mod, added the new RoR units.
Merwanor  [ophavsmand] 31. maj 2018 kl. 13:27
Just and heads up, I will update this mod when/if I can figure out an issue with the Dark Elf magazines. Until then I suggest using the other stand alone versions as they have been updated for Queen and the Crone.
Darth Revan 13. feb. 2018 kl. 6:01
@Bishop

Have you installed a other mod which reskinns the same units? if yes look if the mod works again if you deactivate the other reskinn.
Bishop 13. feb. 2018 kl. 5:52
Update please? No longer seems to work for me
vlazyman 11. nov. 2017 kl. 15:11
Thank you for the compilation!
