oh and one thing is if aftetr the re-release of the light cycles if someone makes drivable vehicles of them they need to bank instead of just simply turning because in the film the 5th gen bikes bank HEAVILY into their turns https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GBLtnxxtzQ also to satisfy the users with pony playermodels there needs to be a custom pose for them in the bikes

perhaps you can just try your best to work with it and clean it up a little to turn a bad model into something gorgeous as for map making... i cant do it i had trouble making half a mod in kerbal space program

@TRON porting ue maps is possible and not very hard when you're know what you are doing, but its irritating. you have to port every map mesh, every texture, get those meshes up to the right size and carefully place them in hammer.

@TRON there is a light runner model hidden in Tron run\r files, but it is really bad and does not have textures. and no, 4th gen is tron evolution.

but about the other question...would you be able to make the light runner at some point?...also 4th gen bikes are tron uprising right? also since you said these have the proper skeleton for wheels and stuff you suppose someone could make them drivable? also i never really noticed the uv cracks... maybe i was just happy to finally have accurate light cycle models... also it would be cool if someone made a proper mcp battle map where you have to fight the mcp(not like in kingdom hearts but the way tron ACTUALLY did it) i guess for that you would need to watch the film and i suppose someone would need to make identity disk sweps from the classic tron and tron legacy

@TRON 3 cycles are done. the 2th gen, 5th gen and 4th gen. the problem now is releasing them, because those three combined are like 400-500 megabytes in size. but, since the models themselfs are so shitty (they're very undetailed and undeveloped. what i mean by that is a HUGE amount of UV cracks and just problems with texture placement), its hard to actually make something good looking out of it. by the way, right now im working on Hallam and a remake of Quorra, so wait for that i guess.

@mindseyeman i got around that problem by copying a .obj version and switching problematic parts. that made it look alot nicer, but not perfect. around last month ive solved that problem by installing a different .smd export-import plugin, the WallWorm one. but that means i will have to recreate the whole procces of converting the mesh to source, which is lengthy and horrifically boring.

@mindseyeman i deleted them because of smoothing groups/normals problem. when you import model from .psk in 3ds max to .smd then they sometimes loose theyre original normals, and that will result in a shitty look. plus the correct size for those are hard to caculate. so, it will be done after stuff that im already working.

yeah for now all i have is the light cycles designed for ponies but thats not a problem i really just want really good light bike models 1st gen through 5th gen and everything in between including the encom 786

i think the bikes got deleted because i cant find them anymore...are you not allowed to port good models into the game or something?

@Trogdor i did some lightcycles awhile ago, but theyre not actual vehicles, they did have a skeleton for stuff likt wheels and stuff tho.

That would take alot of work. I know nthing of LUA coding. if i did i would totes start making them. The closest you can get fro tron vehicles (for now atleast) is a few of SligWolf's vehicles.
