作者你好,我从2019年就开始玩这个hard mod了,现在感觉少了25%玩家维持费惩罚,75%玩家招募费用惩罚,55%AI维持费缩减之后,感觉敌人少了特别多,游戏也没有那么大。能不能麻烦作者另外再弄一个还原以前hard 难度的mod,万分感谢!

@哎呀Duck 用rpfm可以自己改 我把维持费加成改为按难度0-20% 士兵等级不变 领主等级加成0-8

This mod need some adjustments. maybe giving an option to toggle on and off some setting.
I dont mind giving AI bit more moeny, but in the late game, every army is gold 3 tier, almost max level lords, and most annoyingly, max level agents.

I notice that as well. The main chaos invasion parks most of its forces away from the front and just sends a few stacks out and about, including the big 3, so they are relatively easy to pick off despite their numbers. This happens without the hard mode though.

I editted some of the tablets. There are goblins and stuff having ror at turn 2.

This mod breaks so many things. Try getting blood kisses with vampire counts when there are only lvl 20+ agents running around while my banshees critical fails every assasination.
The lord thing would be ok but heros sometimes really break auto resolve battles when on such high levels making AI faction which use heros in armies really broken unless you want to manual fight everything.
Not to mention that my 3rd campaign in a row where the empire gets deleted by turn 60 by hords which integrate heros into armies more often.

Hello, if I play with Hard mode Submode on difficulty hard, do I get normal legendary difficulty + AI buffs of the hard mode? I tried to find an answer for this question, but it seems, not many people find this game to easy on legendary.

With Tomb Kings and having 1 recruitment slot available, the game suddenly said that I don't have enough recruitment points to recruit anything. Only Faction caps enabled. Problem was fixed by removing this. Recruitment still worked for other lords, but not the one without additional recruitment slots.

Where is the difficulty ? that you can cheese your way through every combat completely abusing and exploiting AI ?
That you set solo generals to bait AI into ambush ?
Or is it that your general way of play is double army stack snowball ?

You want a difficult game, get your self -20 happiness and cut growth by a half
this will make your make billions time more "difficult" than any upkeep and economy changes or even AI bonuses to combat. You will just sit in your starting region for 50 turn, how very fun and difficult.

Small Bug: Tested with Queen Khalida. Just SFO nothing else other than this.
Game set to Very Hard.

With only SFO and hardmode disabled.
Upgrade costs
3500 crypt barracks tier 2
2000 quicksand swamp tier 2

With only SFO and hardmode enabled.
Upgrade costs
5600 crypt barracks tier 2
3200 quicksand swamp tier 2

That seems a little higher than the 5 to 25% shown above. So I'm running with hardmode and easymode together so its still hard, but not insane atm. Kinda funny I guess to run them both but works for now.

With only SFO with easymode & hardmode enabled.
4800 crypt barracks tier 2
3000 quicksand swamp tier 2

Prob a minor #'s adjustment.

can someone tell me why legendary difficulty isn`t a mod. id quite like to play with legendary values..with the ability of slow mode on the battle map. perhaps also the possibility to load any saves if possible

Tried with this and more armies that adds an extra slot. Still just 1 slot goes to 0. Soon you exit to main menu and reload it doesn't seem to load your recruitment slot as 1. Goes to 0.
With just SFO its 2 slot, More armies on it own i thought would be 3. Its still 2.
SFO with just easymode also is 2 loaded to 2.
Some reason this hard mode if you have 1, goto main menu, load its now 0.

Just bought the tomb kings dlc. Recruitment slots kept going from 1 to 0 for no reason at all.
Was driving me nuts.
I have ONLY sfo and this mod enabled.
Reproduce - Start campaign, Shows 1 recruit available. Save Game: SaveA1
Exit to main menu, start new same campaign. Load SaveA1 previous campaign you just saved and it will now show NO recruitment slots available even though it just showed 1 before you saved SaveA1.
After disabling all the mods and testing to figure out what was causing it. I found it was this.
Disabled this hardmode I have 2 slots available, save, start new, load, still shows 2. Which is good.
Enabled with this, I have 1 slot available. Save. Start new, Load, now shows 0. And you won't get 1 until next turn. If you then save, and try to load the game that just shows 1 it will now be 0.
Doesn't happen with other races, just tomb kings.

Can you make a version that only adds the bonuses for the AI, but not the severe handicaps for the player?

Namely just this

Hi Venris

I have a question i'd be happy if you could clarify. If one's using the hard mode. Would enabling the ingame unit caps not weaken the AI a lot more than the player? Since the upkeep is so much lowered for the AI wouldnt it have far more elite armies than the player? I ask because i do not know wheather SFO increases the amount of armies an AI player can have. Because if its still limited then you'd come to the point where the AI has, lets say 4 armies with mostly mid tier units due to unit caps even though it could afford 4 armies with dragons.

If I may make my point for it as well :) ;

I understand that you think it feels unnatural, that the AI averland for example ignores the vampires on it's east attacking and sends its last stack against the empire (player). However, one might argue that the crowd interested in this kind of submod, is not likely the one complaining about such behavior, but rather about the fact that both averland and the vampires are preoccupied with eachother, weakening themselves and thus making the game a lot easier.

Thanks for the reply Venris! And again thanks a lot for this awesome mod! Obviously it's a game problem, everything changed by mods is in the end ;-). If the game itself was flawless it wouldnt need mods. But i get what you mean. That its not easily changed on a modding level. Again, thanks a lot anyways! I just know that some mods like celtics changed the AI behaviour to be a lot more aggressive. Also the anti player focus you talked about not wanting to include would go a long way.

Unfortunately i have to agree with previous posters. The basics of the mod are awesome. The secessionists with empire for example take me between 13 and 20 turns to take out with volkmar. Its a huge blast and a challenge. However, once you've climbed that hill the AI is way to passive. For this to be truly challenging it would need to be a lot more aggressive. How it is now I can normally always choose to enter a war on my own terms, one at a time, which oh wonder I win easily. This would have sooo much potential. Please consider changing the personalities or adding an additional submod.

I found such a solution:

I combine this mod with SFO: Grimhammer II: Easy Mode SUBMOD и SFO: Grimhammer II: More Armies SUBMOD in the end, As a result I get reduced upkeep Player and increased recruitment cost, and the AI gets all booster from Hard mod

Having an AI improvement mod for SFO would be amazing. Similar to what CeltiK did, but he has retired from modding TWWH now (and his mod is incompatible with SFO).

I know you're busy now working on the update of SFO main mod.

But tell me please, do you have any plans to make a mod similar Better AI 2 EXTRA HARD Difficulty from Minos?

I would like to see change applied only to the AI

Because the increase for the upkeep of armies leads to problems with the economy that worsen the gameplay

thats why i dont use your mod anymore. why wouldnt Player focus mechanic in campaign. the ai rarely attacks you and the ai is very passive

I agree, but why not make a submod for those who like it? I mean I don't LIKE it when AI ignores everyone and focuses you, but in Warhammer 2 AI isn't TOO agressive in vanilla. It just kinda keeps player in check throughout the campaign. In SFO you don't even have great power penalty and if you play right and don't purposely screw your diplomacy, you never enter wars that you don't want. And Chaos that ignores you feels just wrong. SFO is superior to vanilla in literally every other aspect, except for AI interaction with the player (from my experience at least) And I would like a challenge that doesn't include making all factions play like Clan Angrund without Karak Eight Peaks lol. (like this mod does for example).

I really dont like Player focus mechanic in campaign. It kills any sandbox experience.
