@Draknirv That's a known problem. Erde will probably fix it when (IF, by the looks of it) he updates his compatibility patches mod. He said he'd do it soon about 1-2 months ago, but so far no news.

Theres been a silly mistake it seems, the armoury doesn't unlock recruitment of regular longbeards (though it unlocks the great weapon longbeeards).

Cant recruit longbeards. It says "there is a building require" but there is none listed, and anyway it should just be the 3rd tier mustering hall which I have.

@Erde Could you add a little more base/alpha damage to the Troll Melter? I know it's supposed to be a "damage over time" type unit, but the damage is so slow that it takes a while to actually kill any models. It's an anti-large artillery piece, but struggles to actually take out models in monster and cavalry units by the time the lines meet, at which point you must switch them off for fear of friendly fire. I think going from 55 to 100 damage is reasonable.

Nevermind lol had to search the original mod for this little guy "*unlocked via buildings, not via pool, to limit the AI." Basically you need tier 3 and up buildings for your RoR. You dont have to actually unlock them by getting the pop up like normal races I rushed getting thunderbows by turn 15 because their awesome. Thanks once again for the update Erde!

Same issues as before the update, I cannot recruit ROR, also cannot recruit Orgi Three Fingers after researching to unlock him. Thank you for the update but I hope you can fix these issues.

This and any other SFO patch for mods Erde has done have slight problem, where TK patch added new unit limit tables which his mods haven't been updated to = can't recruit any units from mods his mods provide Patch to.

Cataph published an update today that replaces the armoury building chain. You need to demolish and rebuild the armoury.

Hi, I've got the mod working but there seems to be a bug with recruiting the special Drak units? I've got a Barracks and Armoury for the Kraka Drak Grom Bakraz infantry, but I still can't recruit them. In-game it says "Can't recruit" but it doesn't say that they require any further buildings or tech. Any idea what the issue might be? Thanks!

Now you got it! That's exactly what you need to do. And there is a reason I listed the vanilla mods as requirement. :p

i do have the modding framework. ah! i think i understand what the problem is. i need to have both the original faction mod enabled including the compatibility ones. i thought these compatibility mods were the vanilla+compatible in one. right!

You need to also activate the mods that are made for vanilla. My submod only changes unit stats and such and it requires the vanilla mods to be enabled or naturally the game will crash as it can't find all the required data.

Also I suggest you get the community modding framework that is listed as a requirement for the faction unlocker.

thank you for the swift response. just to be sure i'm not missing anything, may i double check with you if i just need the following:
- the faction UNLOCKER,
- SFOverhaul itself (not with the optional components like cheaper armies etc),
- and these SFO compatible faction mods.

or if i am missing any potential requirements?

edit: i literally have nothing but SFO, cry's faction unlocker, and these 3 SFO compat faction mods on atm but it's still crashing on launch. ;_;

I just tested and it works for me fine. Sometimes the game can crash while launching even twice in a row which is a vanilla issue so try a couple of more times. If it doesn't work I guess it is one of your unrelated mods or some other issue.

Also to be sure, you need to have the base mods enabled too and all their potential requirements.

odd.. for some reason, my game stops responding on launch when i have the 3 SFO compatible faction mods enabled at once. on the other hand, the 3 non SFO compatible ones launch the game just fine.

i've tried disabling every other mod one by one but the only ones i haven't tried disabling yet are unrelated mods like better camera etc. anyone else with this problem?
