Isn't it time for a 'Hall' 4-6-0? Probably the most useful loco in the GWR's final years.

HI JK, just wanted to say thanks for creating and sharing so many GWR mods. I have most of your workshop in my game. :steamhappy::2016trophy:

would you make a 2 8 2 o the north?

There was some standard gauge in the early days of GWR. There's a small possiblity of me doing a 69 Class 2-2-2 from 1856 (as 1850 in game), but not in the foreseeable future. It's also hard to know what is should look like as they were later rebuilt and there wasn't really photography that early. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Gooch_standard_gauge_locomotives#69_Class

We definatly need some earlier British trains in the game; I always start at 1850. The problem for JK is that in that in that era the GWR used the broad guage tracks (7'-!/4'' or 2140mm) that are incompatable with TF.
The rocket is too early and too crude for TF (1832), locomotives developed quickly after that time. It needs something from around 1850, perhaps a LNWR 'Large Bloomer'?

Play exclusively with all your work on my scale regional maps of West Wales (trying to re-build former railway lines now closed).

What are the chances of you working on George Stephenson's “Rocket” in the future? Would be great to have a very early British train for 1850 play.

Again, thank you so much for all your work - keep it up!

See if you can do LMS equipment as well

Thanks guys. Yes, I have the Castle on the list and the Hall is potientially a possiblity. I'm hoping to do a 4000 Star class by Christmas, and maybe some other bits & bobs before then.

Thank you!

Very good! My Uncle lives in Swindon, so we normally look around the GWR museum whenever we go to visit him. If I were to make a few suggestions for locomotives from the GWR for you, I would say the 4073 "Castle" class express engine, the 4900 "Hall" Class Mixed-Traffic locomotive and the class 8000 "Cathedral" paper prototype Pacific engine (an estimated model can be found at http://www.gwr.org.uk/galmeadows1.html) . Anyway, I enjoy your mods very much, and hope for more in the forseeable future.
