awsome work, I love all your modded reiksguard units but this is my favoite, this is how it should be the finest warriors of the empire can mess with all foes, even with the dispicable chosens of chaos....a must have mod for all fans of the Empire of Man....HAIL SIGMAR!!!

Damn - subbed to this and didn't realise they are very OP - pretty much ruined a Vamp C campaign as Empire stacks them and armies with them are all but invinsible.

@Nox First Love your units, Second (Most importantly) Love that you made custom unit cards for them that look vanilla. Most moders don't bother to make one for theirs, which kinda ruins the immersion for me, so thank you for the work you put into this mod. Also any chance you could make one for the Dwarves? I ask only because no one else has made one with good looking unit cards like yours. Thanks again, keep up the great work!!!

Hey Dan it's all up to date already :) luckily the patch didnt break my published mods so for the biggest part i just had to do some testing and struggle with the new restrictions on preview pictures. ( Thank you for this, Steam.... :chaosstar:). So, what's troubling you?

Yeah I even made that unit for Warhammer 1 already and I did plan to finish the Warhammer 2 port (which is overdue anyways) today after testing and updating all my other mods. Doing all that took a bit longer than anticipated due to some problems with steam and such but i might still get them done today :)

Thanks! Just a quick question, have you ever though of possibly doing just like a dismounted sword and shield variant of Knights of the Blazing sun? Their models look and amazing and would be pretty badass dismounted.

Hey Guys, Thanks everyone and I'm sorry for the late reply. All my Units are usually associated to their respective unit sets to receive the corresponding skill/technology upgrades (so these should receive both, greatswords and reiksguard upgrades).

While their armor can compensate their lower hp to some extend i do plan to tweak the stats of some of my units to better fit the balancing of warhammer II.

I will upload a combined mod soon (this weekend or the next one!) and as a lot of people seem to be asking for an SFO version I will have a look at SFO and it's balancing to make a second version of the combined mod with units stats to better fit into SFO.

Dear mod author, i am loving the whole set of your special Reiskguard of you so far, especially the gunner version, however, will it be possible to make SFO version of them, the stats mostly seem ok but the HP pool is somewhat much lower comparing to the SFO units, thank you very much for your hard work Sir !!!!

most of units in wh2 get more hit points than wh1 ,but those reiks still same hit points with wh1 version? :steamsad:

first off let me say awesome unit mod thank you for giving us more knights.

just wanted to make some suggestion if possible like lower their numbers from 90 model to 75 also their speed should be lower like 26 for all Shield/Greatsword & Halbert. I just ask for the lower number because these guys are prestigious knights so they shouldn't be too many of them running around. As for the speed it just feels off that a unit with 120 armor is faster than greatsword with less armor. Once again thank you so much for this mod and keep up the awesome work I hope you continue and make regular knights, & knights of the blazing sun foot knights in the future. :steamhappy:

Hey Anri, as it only required 1 additional line of code for the units to wear capes, i did make a little "unofficial" version with capes. However as they're just a slightly modified version of the originals they'll only work if you uncheck the original version. I also don't want to flood the workshop with multiple marginally different variants so i'll not upload them here ^^

But you can download them from this link:
Reiksguard greatswords with capes [1drv.ms]

Just extract the .pack file and image to your warhammer 2 data folder, then select them in the mod manager and unselect the originals, then you should be good to go :)

Regarding the capes, i will leave them as they are because when i created the my first reiksguard unit i decided to only add capes to officers to help them standing out from the rest and i want to keep the same pattern across all units. That said some variant of this unit or a rare and capped super elite unit where every soldier wears capes to show their elite status might be thinkable :)

Hey BattlePanda, yes I've heard that for some people they are cheaper than regular greatsword units under some circumstances. I can't really retrace this behaviour as i didn't get around to start an empire playthrough in warhammer 2 yet. Their base costs are definitely higher than regular greatswords. However i assume this has to do with them beeing tied to the reiksguard unit set aswell as the greatswords one. They probably receive benefits from technology, etc for both unit types resulting in in them beeing rather cheap while having high stats. So i guess either i need to increase their costs a bit futher or remove them from one of both unit sets.

Unless I had some followers adjusting things these guys seem both cheaper and better in every
way compared to regular greatsword guys apart from a few bucks higher upkeep and doesn't seem very balanced if that's the case.

Might have just had a bunch of things reducing Reiksguard units cost though.

Well between regular work and part-time studying it's primarily during weekends when i can find some time to work on my mods, but the halberdiers are already working in game, they are just missing their unit icon and aren't balanced so far.

Additional single units should be savegame compatible as long as you don't remove the mod after hiring them during your campaign. Regarding the mod collection i haven't done one so far but i'll use the same tables, IDs, names, etc. so i expect it to be interchangable with the stand alone units. Although to know for sure i would need to test this first.
