if you only subscribe without the "snd_rebuildaudiocache"
1) Maybe will not work
2)It will appear static or cracking noises

Not wrong but not correct, you MUST open the console and write "snd_rebuildaudiocache" and NEVER interrupt or that can make your game muted until you delete all the sound.cache inside of all your l4d2 files.

it is because all the audio files are using corrected frequency since the game updated. You dont need to do steps as mentioned in description anymore :sunglassesDoge:

from some unknown reason I didnt needed to do all those steps, I just instaled it and boom its was working

@creeperpikmin I don't have time for request unless i'm paid for it. You can do it yourself

Can you please make a version for Rochelle?

Hi, quick and easy question for you: After following all directions and everything works fine, will I be able to uncheck the box in the addons section of the game and still have the voice pack working or does the addon have to be checked at all times? thanks

that takes much time to re-adjust the timing of audio files

While the noisy screeches can be fixed with the solution you posted, if you edit the audio files to be the same length as Zoey's lines, then it will not screech.

What an odd thing to cause. You'd think it'd just have silence for the rest of its duration, not loudly assault the ears.

it is because the duration does nto sync with original audio file, which causes noisy screeching sound

Unfortunately I do seem to be having issues with the audio causing horrifically loud ear-scraping noises after the voice lines play out, however. Thankfully turning the voice mod off was as simple as toggling the mod off.
Any chance you know what might've caused this, or if there's a fix for it? The radio effects I don't mind, but the noise, which I can only describe as scrapping, I don't think I can tolerate.

I believe the problem Kyle was having might've been that he was looking in the Workshop folder that was just inside steamapps rather than the Workshop Folder that's located inside the Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons folder.
For the record the easiest way to tell which mod this is in that folder is looking at the date and time of when the mods were downloaded. For instance I downloaded some other mods at around 4am, but this one a bit later at 4:20am. I was able to tell which one this was on the list by checking the dates and seeing one downloaded on 5/14/2018 at 4:20am.

i know that but what is the file name of you mod
〆 - ﻌ-ゝDoge... herr Doge  [author] 4 Dec, 2017 @ 9:47pm
when you click "extract file to..." option, click on left4dead2_dlc1 and click Extract. do the same with "left4dead2_dlc2" and "left4dead2_dlc3"

Then get to the game, open console by pressing ~
type: snd_rebuildaudiocache
wait until 100%, then type "exit" (no quotation mark)

thanks this is what i wanted for so long haha, but its just a little annoying that the most part of the voice pack has speeches from the radio, anyway its cool to have Rebecca´s sounds :re0rebecca:
