Hey, so, I'm brand new to modding games, in fact, brand new to PC gaming in general so I'm probably not going to get a answer for this seeing as how the last comment was made in 2018 but its worth a shot. I'm just wondering, why is the model all stretched out for me? Did one of the most recent updates break this model?

Yeah ive had the same issue too (With fade and NS1 knife) @Source Heart

Ive tried litterly everything I could think of to try and fix it (Cant be saying to much im not really a NS2 modder) hopefully it can fixed one day

That's because it IS a pain in the ass, and unfortunately the amount of time it would take to create a tutorial would be wasted when people realize just how frustrating it is. I have obtained an updated version of the Fade source model and will be attempting to get this fixed and back in game shortly... could you post some kind of tutorial on how to create a custom player model for NS 2 ?
because it seems like importing and exporting models for NS2 is a pain in the a**

never mind. i found the files in the lauch pad. for anyone else wondering go to you ns2 directory in steam/steamapps/common find launch pad. run it. click "new" het past the naming, and when the new icons appear click "example assests" extract. then open with 3dsmax.

I've been trying to navigate the seemingly inadequate info on adding custom charecter models and the like. If you could; put a link in where you figured out how to export the ns2 scource files into 3ds max or blender, and/or put a link to where you figured out how to properly export the models into ns2, that would be fantastic

I have the invisible fade bug as well

Fade becomes invisible for me since the current build. I had to deactivate it :(

Amazing mod. Unfortunately i had to uninstall it. After a few hours the Fade model started to become invisible and only the blink effect itself remained to be seen. I also know of atleast one other person, who had the same bug. No idea why it is happening like this out of the blue.
