Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.

Check the list of mods at the bottom of description. If the assets are from one of these mods then you'd have to ask permission from the original creator (e.g. new alien models were taken from "A Better Advent"). If the assets are created by me, than the answer is no, because I made a new currently supported mod that uses them. Please consult me through private messages if you want to figure out the details.

@Frizzeldian12, yes, should be compatible. However, keep in mind that I no longer support this mod (as stated in description)

@JDubb It doesn't indeed. Both wotc as well as the mod add lots of new content, so I would need to remake the multiplayer component from scratch. Sadly, I lost interest in xcom modding by the time I finished fleshing out the campaign mode due to lack of time and bunch of irl stuff. If you want to try multiplayer, you'll have to use vanilla version of the overhaul

Does this not add all of the other aliens & advent to multiplayer mode like the other version does, or am I missing something? I have that gigantic list of extra units for the base game but for WOTC I do not have any of those extras. Is this some sort of bug or did you intend to leave off this feature?

I did (without ironman), the streamer played on Commander Ironman and then switched to Legend during the final stages of the game including final mission. Legend in VBO is actually harder than vanilla's Legend (about 1 level higher, so you may want to play on Commander for vanilla-level difficulty)

Enabling mods in the correct order may do the trick (supressors mod should be subbed to/enabled after vbo). Unfortunately, I'm not sure if there's another way to disable Better Repeater part in case it doesn't work (I don't really want people to have legit ways to one-shot bosses on final mission, etc)

Found I can't play XCOM without this mod. I love the multi-faceted hunker down ability and lost chrysalids! Exalt not so much... My entire squad can get blinded by just 1 sniper in 1 turn if I'm unlucky. Also I can't distinguish sword wielding ones.....

Still, I did edit out your weapon ranges so I could add Avenger's mod. That worked! I'm trying the same with your repeater (so to add Musashi's suppressors), but deleting the related lines in the mod's GameCore.ini yielded no change... Am I missing something or is that just not possible?

If you mean which mods I would recommend to use, then you should be fine with any setup.. Some mods are integrated already (see the list above). Weapon/ability/class mods are not recommended, because their damage values would stay on vanilla level and therefore be OP

Ok u got it right so you only use this mod u made and cosmetics mods. Nothing like stop wasting my time instant avenger gotcha more information or weapon mods unless they are cosmetic only. but no other mods. right? sorry if im saying it wrong lol.

Not sure if I'm getting this question right, but most of cosmetic and enemy mods as well as mods that don't change weapon damage values should work. Me as well as that streamer haven't used any gameplay mods (just cosmetics)

@| Oz | Vash Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, I've lost interest in xcom modding some time ago due to different reasons. Nevertheless, feel free to report any serious bugs if you find any. @Nider001 Its ok. Thanks for this mod it is pretty good so far. Few things that im not sure if it could be fixed or not. Also it could be really really good if you plan to put more time into it.

It does work with the more podsizes I think. there were a few more advant than before which was lacking alot of. The other few things i noticed where the Exalt die in funny ways lol. The bosses were cool tho. Some other minor things its fun tho, If you really get into it. I think this could be really good overhaul mod. Its good but needs a polish up.

Good luck with your campaign, Commander. This mod adds custom ai to sniper-type enemies, but it should be fine for everything else including exalt (which use existing ai trees)

A Great mod that breathes new life into the missions! The first Gatecrasher mission was truly challenging. Works well with Red Simple Fog and Armor & Vest Config (Author's Cnoise), two must have mods for me! Question: Can I add Avenger AI mods too or does this overhaul already tweak the AI?

@Jamus Swift: it'll take some time to include all additions. You can check the one for vanilla xcom 2 vesion of the mod as it is fairly accurate (except for the Multiplayer and New units sections)

Lost and having the guys carrying the other guy slow down are pretty difficult with weaker weapons and chryssalids thrown in. I managed to lose only one guy on the second mission because of the increased chance to bleed out this mod seems to have.

Hunker down is about as useful as overwatch now (I suggest checking out it's new description and features), so that'd help you to adapt quickly. EXLAT Commando will be revealed if you move a soldier close enough (4 or less tiles)

I think there's some cool ideas in this mod but it seems to have changed overwatch from 2 to 3 and hunker down is now 2? Having played as much XCOM as I have, this is seriously messing with my habits to the point where it's almost unplayable. Please change back ty :)

cant get it to work together, i subbed this for the enemies,
the rest makes the game too easy, i can throw 5 grenades on lost until new spawn, the lost dmg makes them no threat, the timers r too long too
sadly even with all the .ini changes/deleting by myself it resetes back to vanilla and ignores other mods i have
pls consider to make an enemy only mod with focus on exalt and lost units with in mind to be compatible with other lost changes, think more will sub this
an overhaul is a nice idea, but sacrifice many other mods, which improve and not just change the balance of the game, and change things other mod do, which do more additional. i cant use

did u something with the lost, cause my .ini change of world war lost mod to buff the dmg is not loading with this mod, cant find anything in ur .inis about that

i would change the description with the modelthing, so shadow knows u changed it

@Nider001, sorry about the modle but wasnt my call to let it be used. The creator of the modle doesnt want it to be used so i have to respect that. As for requiring pleayer to use other mods in conjuntion with yours, its a lot easier than addng all that stuff to your mod, possably having conflicts if people are still using the mods you got stuff from and then subbing to this mod. And not very many people will sub to a mod the size of this one. thats why its easier to just make a mod work and need other mods rather than merge so many mods.
