For now, I think it runs perfectly in humanoid species group. I have over 120+ mods.

After a rather long hiatus I'm back and set to work on updating my mods. Thanks to your guide I was able to properly update this and some of my other mods. Unfortunately Paradox latest patches changed more than I had anticipated so other mods (where they create their own species tab) don't work anymore.

Let me know if there are any problems.

For anyone trying to get this working with the 3.12 update:

Paradox basically changed how they organize portraits, what was originally listed under the "species_classes" is now in a folder called "portrait_sets" (both of these folders are located in the Stellaris Common folder).

If you look in the "species_classes" folder for this mod, you will see a file called "01_morjan_classes." In this file there is a line under the humanoid portraits list called "morjan" which is under "humanoid_05." Now follow these steps:

1. Copy the "morjan" line including the quotes
2. Go into the paste it in the "00_portrait_sets" file. This file is located in the portrait_sets folder in the Stellaris Common folder. You will paste it under identical lines it was located in the mod file, (underneath "humanoid_05").

Once you do this and save the document, the Morjan portraits should reappear in the game, it at least worked for me. This method has worked for me with a few other portrait mods too.

@Maverick Yeah, I totally missed that Stellaris got updated to 3.9. Had to catch up on this urgently.

Solved the problem. Paradox is messing around once more. For some reason they renamed the so called "hair-selector" to "attachement-selector". Let me know if any other problems appear.

um there is a bug either my pops have no hair or a really weird hairstyle.

@Martamos Maybe a mod conflict? This one adds them right to the humanoid tab, but if there are other mods present what modify the humanoid-species I might not work properly.

@Ratzfatz-GER That's what I thought, but when I went to alter my leader in the species creation screen I noticed that there were no option for customisation.

@Martamos Do you mean the shown pictures? Most likely a coincidence. The mod offers a bit more variety, 6 male and 6 female different portraits but I, for some reason, failed to properly convey it into the pictures.

Is there a reason why all the leader portraits are just the same guy with different hair?

@min 1957 Unfortunately no. Even by simply adding the portraits it changes the checksum of the game. So ironman is impossible. Sorry.

Entschuldige. Offensichtlich war ich falsch informiert, wir kriegen hier keine Kompatibilität zueinander hin. Ein Portrait einer anderen Mod hinzuzufügen erzeugt nur ein leeres Feld, wenn diese Mod nicht aktiv ist und im Log meckert er, dass das Portrait nicht gefunden wurde.
Und da es ja leider keine "has_mod"-Trigger gibt, kannste Lines 38 - 42 wieder löschen. Schade.

Aber Humanoid Species Pack funktioniert jetzt, die Portraits davon werden angezeigt.

Does overwrite the portraits of Humanoids Species Pack. See my comment in you other mod.
