The track switches are all glitched. they reset every time a train goes across them.

Most people, don't have DoD.
Because it's SUCH an old old game, and isn't rly required for Garry's Mod anymore.
You're like one of the only people who use DoD content, because it's SO rare to find a gmod player WHO owns DoD in the first place, let alone has textures.

It's a temporary texture which I placed in the map files. For some reason the directory was messed up which is why you can't see it

If DoD is required, why haven't you put it in the info as a Reqired Content? Seems a very significant thing to leave out.
