<public>false</public> to
<public>true</public>
And it should show up in the g-menu just as you would expect. I have no idea why it's screwing up the model for you, it really shouldn't be doing that at all if you're doing this right.
So don't bother.

If you want to make it not show up on the g-menu, open up its cubeblocks.sbc file and change the <public> property to false and save it as your own mod. Be sure to make a blueprint of the block before you do that though, so you can paste it in as admin once you remove it from the menu.
I fixed it, NOW it is truely insanium and would withstand any attack.
It can now stand agains a gattling turret constantly shooting for 30 something weeks straight.
The quantum thruster wasn't quite working as intended... So I changed it to an "ion" type thruster, BUT it's backwards (it works better in atmosphere). So you can still treat it as an atmo-thruster, but now it can also be used in space as well (20% thrust in space).
I also released this new mod that randomly spawns pirate bases featuring these new blocks! Here:

(sorry, my english is not so good)
Seems legit
As for distributing the blocks, you just got to physically paste the block in front of them and say "here ya go" or something. They don't show up on the g-menu at all (just like the monolith block) so the only way to see them is to use the blueprints and paste them in when you're an admin. So just subscribe to the blueprints and paste them in for them, let them figure out how to jury-rig them to their builds.
Perfect troll
When I bumped into it with my astronaut, I phased through and couldn't move for a while. Had to restart my jetpack. Also there was a bit of weirdness going on with the audio.
That way it will always have mass, but be really light
