Did anyone managed to use this Mod at all in recent years? I don't remember the last time this Mod (and the Plasma Grenade Launcher Mod) ever worked...

I've run into an issue with the Taipan Hussar: I cannot fire with the main weapon other than with strafing fire and cannot attack with the melee weapon at all. Anyone aware of any mod conflicts that would cause this?

As a side note, i've encountered a similar issue with the Playable Advent Mod only with the Purifier where I cannot attack with the pistol other than with "Pistol Overwatch". Maybe that will help?

how do i get the aliens i my team they are not in the character creation

ok, so for some reason, I can't recruit aliens without crashing to desktop and anytime I try to complete a mission with an alien like a sectoid, the game crashes to desktop, but I was able to use the alien before evacing them and I own a sectoid that is completly unaffected, I can use him normally too, so whats happening?

Am I doing something wrong? The Mod doesn't give me the "recruit rogue operative" mission that usually gives us Alien recruits...

I also have a (positive meant) comment: If you can sacrifice the 3 technology levels of the weapons, you could just use the weapons integrated in the game. I do this sometimes for my normal X-COM Soldiers. The weapons work very well and have their specific abilities. Only some animations (e.g. vipers spit glob) look awful with normal soldiers, but should work with the aliens (also there are some animation fix mods available).

Is there any chance for cosmetics only for the in game aliens. By some other mods i have codex, spectre and sectoid as soldier outfits. But mutons and vipers were very interesting to complete an "alien squad".

How to use this mod?

hey guys its me ralsei i wanted to ask if anybody knew if i could somehow mod this mod to enable it to accept custom aliens. like the elite varients or perhaps the BIO troopers

lost a entire squad on infiltration, im at 200% and mission dont even exist on the map, so my squad is done, ty

Real shame that the only version of this with more aliens is for LWOTC, which is dogshit.

Do we have any ideas if this mod will somehow be updated with more playable aliens?

if you enable debug mod and enter in the command "AddSectoidRecruit" it will add one to your characters, also can replace the word sectoid with andromedon and viper

When do the covert ops appear? I haven't had the rescue rouge operative yet and I have skirmishers at high loyalty

Anyone got a fix for Andromedons not being able to heal? it's greatly wounded and hasent been able to heal for weeks in game

I realy like the mod sectoids are fun vipers to Mutons not for me but ok but the latest i get is the andromedon i like it but are there others to that i miss

I don't know if this has been addressed already, but trying to hire Mutons resulted in a crash. Is it just me or is the code flawed, for a lack of a better word?

Also, i think the game also crashes if the mission reward is an alien soldier. My game crashes when i was finishing up a VIP Extract mission that should've rewarded me with a Sectoid soldier, and then my game also crashes when i was finishing up a Recover Item mission that should've rewarded me with a Viper soldier.

The Sectoid Psi Amp just doesn't get upgraded, regardless of many upper tier amps I make. It's stuck on the 'depleted' tier.

Ok seriously, does the Mod even work anymore? Not a single Covert Ops mission helped me recruit any Alien so far... Maybe it worked years ago when it was created but not anymore...

How random are the "covert ops" missions needed to recruit aliens? I was wondering how long it would take or if I need to finish the ops concerning the "chosen" before they appear.

How it is possible to have a "Tertiary Weapon" in the allowed weapons list? Do you created this slot? Or is this a hidden possibility in the game?

(i also don't really like the idea of having 2 different vipers both popping up at the same time) i assume commenting out everything relate to the vipers in the ini file would work but i'm not sure

Don't think this mod works anymore, I'm like 5 hours into a new playthrough and havent found any covert ops

Im noticing a strange dramatic FPS drop whenever i have this mod installed or enabled. I've messed around with a mod list and tried just enabling this mod and still got drastic FPS issues on gatecrasher. Strangely, this does not occur with other mods regardless of the amount I try. Is this a known issue and is there any way to fix this?

how do i create a alien character

I can't seem to upgrade the weapons. The description says that they upgrade with schematics but I'm also playing with Prototype Armory which removes schematics to make every weapon individually built. Is there a workaround for this?

can the valentines viper be edited so she can be recruited or created via other mods like recruit-able aliens alien factions or Interrogation And Recruitment please

I guess it's probably my bad for inserting the mod in mid-campaign and probably the fact that the weapon research was completed didn't help either.

I saved him in the pool and went into the pool to try and change his armor and weapon (I have Iridar's Appearance Manager). Of course the change was possible, as the armors and weapons were present.

So it's probably just a bug due to my current circumstances (mid-campaign and research completed). Lesson learned for next time.

I subbed to the mod mid-campaign. I already completed the weapon research. I got an Andromedon from a covert op. Problem is he's stuck on his Tier 1 gun. The other three classes at least have the tier 2 weapons.

Same goes for the armor (I didn't complete Powered Armor yet), he doesn't have his Tier 2 armor, while the others do.

Is there a way for me to rectify this problem?

Anyone know why my sectoid abilities are greyed out - I've levelled them up fully but null lance and domination are both greyed out?

dustadon, it does work for lwotc. I run almost 600 mods, including lwotc, and I love this one!

At the start of the game only Sectoids can be recruited. Vipers become available on Force Level 4, Mutons on 6, Andromedons on 12. This can be edited in the mod's config files in the XComAlliesUnknown ini file.

Great mod and still works for me in WOTC. Only issue is that, at least in this playthrough, 3/3 aliens have been Sectoids. Don't get me wrong, I love the little freaky fookers, but it would be nice to have some variety!

Is anyone working on the bridge between this mod and the recuitment one? Would have been cool to see captured advent troops joining XCOM rank that way.
