@igor140
Please check what other mods you're using and which game type you're playing.
If you're playing the special barbarian game mode - this mod won't work. It's only for getting fewer barbarians in regular game mode.

ok, did you make barbarian an actual faction?! i am literally 15 turns since this bandit camp first showed up. if i could post the screenshot i took, i would.

when i first arrived (8 turns after it spawned) the barbarians had two men-at-arms, one pikeman, and two crossbowmen. seven turns after that, only the pikeman and one crossbowman remain. also, two skirmishers showed up, but i took care of them too.

now, at turn 15 since they showed up at all, i've got the remaining crossbowman, the remaining pikeman, three musketmen (having already killed one; there had been four total)...

AND A TREBUCHET.

i have played this game since release, and never even heard of barbarians getting siege weapons. i installed your mod a couple hours ago, and here we are...

grab this mod if you want a challenge, but this is completely unplayable for a normal game.

oh good. now the barbarians have musketmen. it's 1240AD. awesome. yeah man... not working properly

i don't think this is working as intended. there do seem to be fewer barbarian camps, but i am getting SWARMED. they seem to spawn units at least twice as fast as normal.

i got a notification for a new camp near one of my backline cities. in the 8 turns it took my man-at-arms to get there, there were five bandits units waiting on him.

i just saw your notes. If you did this and it works for Gathering Storm i will come and find you wherever you are on this planet and thank you 1 billion times and buy your shopings and throw your trash and do whatever you need :). Thanks in advance, exaggerate barbarian activity made me quit playing CIV Vi (i play only on deity and it is beyond boring and annoying ---- not hard, just ANNOYING --- to face all that absurd barbarian activity).

What do you mean?
Fossil 30 Jul, 2020 @ 1:09am
is it updated?
Mdk25  [author] 2 Feb, 2020 @ 12:32pm
Should now be compatible with the latest Civ VI version

@circeus Unfortunately I have no plans on buying/working on gathering storm in the near future.
Make sure you see it in the list of active mods (when you press 'esc' during a game).
circeus 20 Feb, 2019 @ 5:47am
Currently, this doesn't seem to work for Gathering Storm (though why it wouldn't I have no idea). Will you be updating it?
Sentient_Toaster 2 Jan, 2019 @ 10:16am
Does what it says on the tin.

subbed because its a good mod and i'm not an idiot who has to be offended by every little thing. (seriously, I really do love the mod. really helps.)

The word Barbarian does not apply to any specific location, ethnicity, ideology, religion, or philosophy/government. Barbarian by history, is no more than a slur or propagandized tool to convey a reason to fear what you dont know; If you were'nt greek, you were a barbarian. If you were'nt roman, you were a barbarian. If you were'nt Saracen/Sassanid, you were a barbarian and so on. Anyone can be considered barbaric, same as ways of thinking or living. The original view of the 'Barbarian' regardless of the society that started the image; was a rough, savage, war-hungry bloodletting looter of sorts. The image/word Barbarian was spread primarily as a social tactic to keep war fervour alive in the populace. Wether for the purpose of protecting their people, or pushing their people to kill another for expansion or economic gain. It is a very sharp double-edged blade, that tactic. That said, I see no problem with the idea of this mod or even the image used. Subbed.:steamhappy:

Well, in the original Hellenistic sense, everyone which is not from Greece is a barbarian.
kamelgjordt 31 Dec, 2017 @ 2:48pm
why is there va picture of a native australian? are you racist and think all natives are barbs? Barbarian is just a word used by the western world to negatively describe tribes that were in their way. I was going to suscribe to this one but wont unless you change that picture
PureRok 23 Dec, 2017 @ 4:06pm
Actually, @ladyfoye, a barbarian is
"1. a person in a savage, primitive state; uncivilized person.
2. a person without culture, refinement, or education; philistine."

Skin color and location has nothing to do with it. But nice try making something about race.
ladyfoye 20 Dec, 2017 @ 9:45am
Barbarians were tribes from Northern Europe that attacked the Romans. These were Huns, Vandals and Visigoths etc. They were not brown people.

Thanks!

You should remove the parentheses from the link, steam thinks it's malicious.
